It is not only a cute retro case, but it does protect the phone. It is a bit big, but if you like to carry your phone, you will quickly notice you aren't carrying it, so you don't leave it behind. Does fit in pants back pocket.

It should be no surprise that this case makes your phone larger to mimic an old 90s phone, but it really makes it bigger! I could no longer put my phone in my pocket because of the size. Also, the soft plastic the case is made out of doesn't feel very protective. Its super cute and I got compliments on it, but I had to change it after a couple weeks.
