Great, Great motherboard
This is a great motherboard. I put an i7-9700 cpu in this thing and no issues at all. The Bios UI Interface is fantastic. Easy and has an Advanced menu as well. It has enough fan headers and RGB headers as well. The manual is very well written with a nice layout of the board and everything identified on it. One thing I could not find is the REBAR for the GPU in the Bios menus. It is possible a Bios update would resolve that. I would use this board again without hesitation.

Wrong location for the cmos memory clear pin
What I dislike more is the bios clear button location near to the first PCI express slot which forces you to remove the video card each time you have to clear the bios. Is not something you have to do often but if you have a big processor cooler and a expensive video card blocking the access to the clear pins, then you wish they thought it better. Any how I found in Amazon and installed a remote power push button switch used for mining which came with a short cable and a 2 pin plug which match the board clear 2 pin connector and meet the purpose to be more accessible and since the wire connection to the switch has no exposed metal and is well protected , I just let it stand at a accessible place over the motherboard , without any risk involved . Anyhow is a good no expensive board that works well.

Right Features at the Right Price
Great board with all the features I wanted and none of the bloat I didn't want to have to pay for. The build quality is great. Some boards with m.2 slots will eat up one of the SATA slots, but this one doesn't. I was able to connect 6 SATA drives along with a new m.2 NVMe drive with no issues. The use of the second m.2 does eat up a SATA slot, but I think this is a fair trade-off, especially when compared to the price point and the competition. To be fair to my review, this replaced a 10 year old board for me new build. I re-used drives and my ATX case, but everything else was swapped. The entire experience was night and day difference. I have this mobo paired with an i5-9400 and I'm pleased with the performance of the system.

Very nice affordable motherboard with lots of options.
This motherboard was used to create a working PC with parts laying around and this motherboard works great!I did have a compatibility issue with a Crucial 2TB NVME drive, so I ended up using a spare 256GB NVME drive instead. Here is what I have experienced.Upper and lower NVME slots would post to the main ASRock logo screen, but not allow me into the bios with the following Crucial NVME drives, I would just see the ASRock logo forever with F-Key prompts, but the ASrock motherboard was acting like it was stuck/froze up. (I ordered 2 of these 2TB Crucial NVME drives from Amazon, and both would not work in the ASRock motherboard.Crucial P3 Plus 2TB PCIe Gen4 3D NAND NVMe M.2 SSD, up to 5000MB/s - CT2000P3PSSD8What did work perfectly in this ASRock motherboard's upper and lower NVME slots were two of these 256GB SP NVME drives.Silicon Power 256GB NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen3x4 2280 SSD (SP256GBP34A60M28)I did try the 2TB Crucial NVME drives in a different AMD motherboard and they both work great. Maybe ASRock has a limitation on the size (GB) of the NVME drive? I read the user manual and didn't see any mention of limitations.I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up/feedback on some compatibility issues.

open box not new from AsRock
Again Amazon is selling open box products as new. The motherboard arrived to me in a generic box and even had the wrong manufacturer manual with it. Thankfully the motherboard works, but when you think you're buying a new product and it arrives in a brown box with the wrong manual I can't help but think how crooked Amazon really is.

Great motherboard for the value
I fried my Asus ROG Maximus code X and this was my replacement board. It works as intended and is capable of high temps and top-tier components. Would highly recommend this board!Con - The (RGB) software is awful and does not properly work in my instance at least.

So Far So Good
Bought this as part of a new PC build for my son who is into gaming. I went with ASRock for this build mainly because the prior MB was this brand. I liked all the heat sinks and the build quality and manual is nice. This MB has a ton of case and CPU fan outputs and you can even specify if you're using one with a water pump instead of a fan. The BIOS is very complete and even supports a mouse for quicker selection of options.Note: There is no built-in speaker so you can't detect any POST codes without adding an external PC speaker using the jumper.

Oldie but a goldie
Its an old chipset, PCIE 3.0 instead of 4.0 so you have 1gb/s per lane (x16 has 16gb/s so its still plenty) But if you want to take an old 8th gen CPU and use it in a decent budget rig, this board works nicely!
