Superior Solid Egyptian Cotton Bath Towel Set, 30" x 55", White, 2-Pieces

I read quite a few of the reviews on this product on the Amazon website and was a bit apprehensive about what I might get, but I took a chance. I am so glad I did!!!!!! They are beautiful quality towels and they LOOK it!!!! BIG size and cotton that is of the highest grade. They are a bit heavy but they do weigh 900 GRAMS!!!!!! I bought two for myself to have monogrammed for use as nice spa towels and two more for a couple of friends in Austria. I plan to have those monogrammed also and present them with these towels when we go to the spa in Rome during my stay in February 2014. I wanted to give them a nice welcoming gift and I am so glad I chose these Superior brand towels. I read some reviews that said they sloughed off during the first three washes. This did NOT happen with mine!!!!! There was no string left in my washer after the first washing and there was very little lint in the dryer filter after they were dried. They came out of the dryer all soft and fluffy and I used NO fabric softener in the wash!!! These are the best towels I have ever purchased. I was afraid I had spent too much, but now I intend to buy some more. Highly recommend!!!!!!

These are high quality, very thick and heavy bath towels. The white set I bought have held up well after about 20 washes, showing no edge unraveling or fraying. While not as absorbent as the very best towels I’ve had ($200 each so a bit of a rice difference) they are soft and superb quality for the price. I really can’t fault these though some consumers may find them too thick. As heavy as they are, after a shower I find they dry easily overnight when hung on a hook or rail. I live two blocks from the beach so there is always some moisture in the air and these towels have yet to remain damp or acquire that delightful mildew aroma. I would not hesitate to recommend them and I was offered nothing to incentivize this review.

These towels are very big and fluffy. They are awesome and do a wonderful job of drying me off. Just make sure and clean dryer vent during the drying cycle. The vent is full half way through. Yes, I recommend. I bought 2 at first, and then ordered 2 more.

Just got them and the first two uses seem to be great. Nice and big and absorbent. I had some real bad towels before that left me wet and cold after a daily hot shower. I hope these continue to work. A little lint in the dryer filter the first two washings but now they only shed a very small amount. 3 month followup: They are still very absorbent and look new. They didn't disintegrate in the dryer. The best towels I've had in a long time.

After 4 years, I just purchased a couple more. These are thick and heavyweight and while not the softest, they are still very plush (in my experience, really soft towels just kind of push the water around without absorbing). If the goal is to remove water from your body, these are the winners. . With both the new ones and the old ones I have had for 4 years, I haven't had any quality control issues. Can't comment about whether or not they are colorfast, I have only used white.

Fluffy and Fantastic towel. I like thick towels and these are upscale and would be at the finest hotels and spas. As other reviewers say: To keep them perfect, you launder them on delicate with an extra rinse, and I use Oxyclean white revive regularly with my whites (every other or every wash) to retain the white. Also use white vinegar if the towels begin to get stiff from too much detergent. These are worth the investment and you keep good towels a long time. Everyone who stays with us asks about them.

We have used the towels now for a couple of years. They are extremely heavy weight for a regular size towel, almost too heavy. They are super thick and good quality but the weight is to the maximum. They remain in good condition but if these are for a user that is not very strong or maybe disabled in some capacity it is not a wise purchase. I probably will look for a different product next time I need to replace.

Coming unraveled after 1st wash. Otherwise, nice and fluffy, would be a nice towel.
