You might want to buy an easel-style frame if you plan to use it on a table or desk--it would need the angled presentation to avoid tipping over. We much prefer hanging them in a pair on the wall next to our staghorn ferns.

What type of wood is this made of? i know it says the color is teak but that doesn’t mean it’s teak.

I’m not very familiar with teak so i can’t 100% say that it’s real but it looks real to me. It seems to be a dense wood but also very light weight. Sorry, hope that helps.

What are the 2 white plastic things for that have sharp metal nails in them?
