Durable and works so well
This is a very sturdy, reliable brush that works on concrete. My dog tends to potty on the concrete, and this works perfectly to get those stains off without much elbow grease on my part. The handle part is thick enough to give you a good grip and keep your hands off the surface you're cleaning. And even on concrete, the bristles hold strong and don't wear down or come off. This is also very easy to keep the actual brush clean.

Bristles disintegrate over time.
Bristles are made from poor quality plastic & over time get brittle & just break off though brush was only used a couple times. I've purchased similar stiff bristle brushes before that lasted for decades. Seems manufacturers are shortchanging us or their Asian manufacturers are shorting them.

Pretty good
My only semi-negative observation was I expected a bit thicker bristles (more of them I mean) and *slightly* stiffer ones, but overall it's still fine for what I needed. We have a cat with a chronic illness and when we have to clean up his messes, the foaming carpet spot cleaner doesn't always work that well on the area unless you scrub it. This has made cleaning with that spray much more effective with just a little bit of effort.

This should be standard issue
When you get a house, this should be waiting for you with some soap. Maybe there'd be less slobs...yeah, I know, wishful thinking. But really though, this think rocks. A rare example of a product that does what it supposed to, lasts as long as it supposed to and costs what it should. Buy one for you and one for each friend you actually like.

Mehh
Visually, this brush looks like it would be great for cleaning, though I found it to be pretty darn uncomfortable and not effective in the way that I thought. Main issue being that when you apply even a medium amount of pressure, the bristles tend to collapse making it hard to get an aggressive cleaning action going. The handle itself is just okay. It is ribbed on the long parts and has a hole for mounting, but it is an odd plastic grip and would be better in my opinion had they used some kind of rubber.Overall it's a little awkward in the hands to use and the bristles are lacking in strength and usability.

Bristles fall out.
I liked the price and the brush had stiff bristles which I needed. My problem was on the first use a lot of the bristles started coming out. Within a minute there were bristles everywhere. They must not have been glued in right I guess.

This thing is a BEAST!
These bristles are *stiff* and so far they haven't lost their shape. They aren't like other brushes that have toothbrush thin bristles. Using this is almost, but not quite, like using a wire brush but with a lesser chance of scratching something. It works well on floors, bathtubs/showers, sinks, and countertops.I wouldn't use this on painted walls or on anything delicate -- this is made for the harder materials like stone, tile, laminate floors, porcelain, brick.I haven't seen any of the "black flakes" that another reviewer has seen. Perhaps if I left the brush in a hot location for a while (like a garage in the summer) then the rubber may begin to disintegrate from heat, but so far, no black scuffs or anything of that nature. Could be that the other reviewer got an inferior batch.

few bristles, total garbage
this is not what you would expect from rubbermaid.... bristles are few and weak compared to every other rubbermaid brush you ever bought. garbage
