Tried a handful of different shin guards and these were the best
I do a lot of research when purchasing shin guards for my daughter. When she first started I liked having the ankle protection of most youth shin guards; however, as she aged and became more competitive, I wanted to get her slide ins for more comfort and better ankle movement. I had been using Dash Sport shin guards, but she outgrew those and they stopped at Youth Medium. They also had itchy straps that she said bothered her when she sweat so I knew it was time to test some new brands. She is age 9, but very tall for her age (just shy of 5') so she definitely needed Youth Large. I ordered 4 different brands that had slide in options and we ended up going with these after trying them on. They fit her perfectly and provide great protection/coverage as a midfielder and also goalkeeper. I've washed the mesh sleeves a handful of times now and hang dry them; there has been no snags or tears yet and the shin guards have held up really well. I definitely recommend these for youth as they age. My daughter says they are very comfortable, don't itch, and don't hold in sweat the way others tend to.

Has cushion padding
Its good however slips down if you run for a bit if you don't have socks covering it properly

Great shin guard & sock
Both my teenagers play soccer, and we were looking to replace their old shin guards (one lost one and the other was falling apart). We choose these because of the design on the back didn't look like it would collect sweat easily. To our surprise, the sock actually had a pocket for the plastic guard that didn't require it to be right on their leg. My daughter (5' - medium) said that the sock didn't squeeze as much as her old ones, but definitely felt like it would stay in place. My son (5'9" - large) said that they were bigger than his old ones and fit much better. They've only practiced with them, so it might be a different story a few months in, but so far so good.

My 12 yo approves!
My 12 year old daughter plays on a travel soccer team as well as her middle school team. I grabbed these to have some extra shin guards on hand since she plays 6 days out of the week. When they arrived I was a little skeptical since they are a lot thinner than the adidas shin guards she normally wears, but after a week, she told me she actually likes these better. The sleeves with the pocket are great as well! Can’t speak to how well they’ll hold up over time, but they are a win so far.

Best out there!
We have 3 boys in soccer and my oldest has played for 6 years now. We have tried a lot of shin guards over the years and these are the first ones my kids like. They have always complained about their shin guards and worn them as little as possible. I’ve even tried this same style in other brands. I have not had a single complaint from any of my boys this year about these shin guards. They are always telling me the opposite, how comfortable they are. The sleeve is well made, the guard is the perfect amount of coverage and comfort and the price is amazing. We will never use another kind of shin guard again. My 10 year old who is tall for his age wears a large, my 8 year old who is small for his age fits the medium but could squeeze into the small if needed and my 5 year old who is average height fits perfect in the small.

Not great for kids with skinnier legs…

Lightweight and comfortable!
My daughter LOVES these shin guards and sleeves. She was really uncomfortable wearing the shin guards with the ankle straps so we purchased these instead and they do not disappoint! They are comfortable, durable and affordable. We will purchase these again for our younger children when they start playing soccer too!
