Don’t Be Fooled By the Low Price, These End Mills Are High Quality
Don’t be fooled by their low price (which is about $4 per end mill), these end mills are sharp, accurate, precise, durable and can cut! Please see the attached photo. I had a high speed steel (HSS) tap break off in an aluminum alloy (AlMgSi) part, and the only way to get the broken tap out was to mill a slot that cross-sectioned the tap.I used the D5 (5 mm dia) end mill from this set for the task. I was extremely impressed with how smoothly and quickly it milled through the entire length of the HSS tap and the aluminum alloy it was embedded in — on a lightweight (200 lb.) milling machine with only 5/8 hp.This was not a single pass cut, but about 1/4” deep done in .003” increments. Still, the end mill from this set got the job done — and like a champ.

Great for the money
It's amazing that anyone can make and sell 8 carbide end mills for ~$35. I've used the 8mm and 10mm quite a bit on A36 and they seem to cut well and hold up better than expected.

Excellent end mills
I have been using them and like them very much. Obviously, they will not do well against particularly hard steels, but they are fine on most mild steels. Good value for money.

appear to be well made
appear to be well made, good machining, have not used yet but they look like good quality tools

Brittle
Purchased the set. They looked great but are very brittle. I have had 3 break with light cuts. I do not recommend these unless you're cutting aluminum or other very soft materials.

Get endmills for the money.
Great value and sharp endmills for working 416 stainless steel. Just have to go easy on the feed cut and speed.

good tool
Cuts easily, nice finish

Temper your expectations, but good for the money.
I'm a hobby machinist and these work well on my mill. If you don't take super aggressive cuts and baby them, they cut steel pretty well.
