AdoramaPaper Safe-T-Bags, Light Tight Transportation Protection for Photographic Paper

I do cyanotypes which require the paper / tshirt to be stored in the dark before exposure. When I'm going to do demonstrations for people at a remote location I need to transport the paper / tshirt there without any light reaching it. These bags are exactly what is needed!They're thin, light, but sturdy. They fold down easily and I've never had any issues with light getting into them.Definitely recommended for any purpose that needs to avoid light contact.

I used them to protect photo paper. I taught students how to make a pinhole camera out of a cardboard box. We used photo paper as our film, and between exposures, my students needed these bags to safely keep out of the light exposed paper and unexposed paper. These bags did exactly that very well.

Nobody much uses real film anymore, so I was glad to find this stuff. I learned photography back in the 80s and early 90s when it was all wet lab chemistry and memories of that served me well now. I work with DNA microarrays, which need to be kept in absolute darkness from the time they are prepared until they are scanned. I bought these bags as a kind of extra insurance for keeping light off of them during shipping. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is that I haven't had a chance to test them yet, but I see nothing wrong with them.

Does the job – sent in several sheets of film in the mail to be developed. The bags have adequately protected the film, even from USPS!
