I’ve been using CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser twice a day for about 3 months on my oily skin. The gel texture foams up easily with just a small amount and removes sunscreen, light makeup, and oil without a lot of scrubbing. What I like is that my face feels clean and refreshed afterward but not squeaky or overly tight, especially if I follow with a moisturizer. It’s fragrance‑free, which is great for my sensitive side, and I like that it’s formulated with ceramides and other barrier‑friendly ingredients instead of harsh detergents. Overall, this is a solid everyday cleanser for normal to oily or combination skin that wants a deep clean without stripping. I’d recommend it if you struggle with excess oil or breakouts but still want something gentle enough for daily use.

I’ve been using this facial cleanser for several years, and it continues to impress me. The soothing foaming action feels luxurious and rinses away easily, leaving my skin fresh and clean but never dry. I think I have combination skin, I don't specifically know what my TRUE skin type is but I do know that my face gets super greasy throughout the day and during the night, but I also break out very easily. I've always had problems finding cleansers that get rid of the nasty oils on my face and make me feel truly clean. Most cleansers that I've felt have "worked" for me make my face feel tight afterwards, and I always associated that tightness with cleanliness and cleansing. That all changed when I got this. Everyone does recommend CeraVe but after I used "CeraVe in the tub" and it broke me out horribly, I was wary of all CeraVe products. I decided to give this a shot and see how it worked for me. First of all it truly does what it says it does, my face DOES NOT feel tight afterwards but I still feel like my face is "clean". Sometimes I even forget to put on moisturizer right after a shower because my face feels so smooth, clean and quenched. My boyfriend has noticed a change in my complexion and even asked if I was using something different because my face looked so clear! This product even curbs the hormonal acne I get about a month before my birth control appointment is due. It's a lot of quality product for the price, and you only need a small amount to work up a lather. This is truly for "Normal to Oily skin" because my boyfriend started using it to wash his face as well and it looks so much better, no more flakiness for him! I'm really glad I gave this a shot and I will try incorporating more CeraVe products into my skincare routine slowly and see if my results are even better. If you think you have oily skin and your oily face is what mostly makes you feel gross throughout the day, then I really do think you should give this product a try, It gets rid of makeup and built up grease in one wash, and it doesn't make your face feel tight afterwards which I think is key. I like this so much I have a subscription, but it lasts so long I only have it set to get one every 4 months and that's with two people using it at the same time.

This product is excellent- the shipping costs twice as much as the product itself, but it was still worth it. I have had acne for years, and only in the last year or so I started seeing a dermatologist for it, after years of trying out different expensive products not suited to my age or skin type. I even underwent facial treatments that cost upwards of ten thousand! My skin improved by leaps and bounds after seeing a dermatologist, but as the derm didn't provide a skin cleanser I struggled to find one. I turned to cheaper brands like Clean&Clear and Neutrogena, and they were okay, but they didn't seem to help control the oil level in my skin and soon after stopping the creams from the dermatologist, I could see signs of my acne starting to return. I bought CeraVe after reading all the stunning reviews, and so far I've had no complaints at all. After washing, my skin feels EXTREMELY clean and refreshed and it feels tighter even. Despite what the label says it isn't actually a foam, it's more of a gel, and I love the texture. It's scentless, which works fine as I hate the artificial smelling goop I normally get with other facial cleansers. Within a week or two of washing there was visible improvement in my skin- my face has actually become lighter and brighter. Although the back of the product says wash morning and night, I use it more than twice a day, especially after getting home from a long day and when my face feels grimy and oily. Love it, will definitely buy more and try out the other products as well. The fact that it contains ceramides is something that has my mother excited as well, since she's a fan of Dr Oz and he has recommended phytoceramides and the like as an alternative to other products that are supposed to make you look more 'youthful'.

The gel may smell a bit alcoholic but it’s not, after the wash there’s no smell at all, just like water wash. Works quite well on my combo skin, removes the oil and dirt fantastically. It’s the most value for money brand than some other US, French brands of the same quality. My seller was “beauty cares”.

This product is very useful for me.Although it has no scent, its unique ability to produce a lot of foam when washing the face, leaves the surface smooth and free of oil and dirt even after washing.

CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser is a great all-round face wash that removes oil, dirt, and makeup without stripping your skin. The foam feels light and refreshing, and the added ceramides help protect your skin’s natural barrier. It’s great for daily use, though if your skin is on the drier side you might want a richer follow-up moisturiser.

Great product...gives a complete clean. Face feels smooth, tight and refreshed.
