The label doesn't have to say "extra virgin", but just "virgin" to be the same unrefined, cold-pressed oil. If it's real white, smells like fresh coconuts, you've got a quality oil. This coconut oil will last at least 2-3 years if I don't run out of it. I put a big scoop every day in my collagen shake for health reasons. I need to microwave it just a little bit to get it soft enough to scoop. Since it is saturated fat (the healthy kind) it will get very firm at temps below 72 degrees or thereabout.
