In summation, as an apprentice DAM consultant and relatively new to the industry, I found this book both informative and enjoyable. I was never swamped by too much detail and felt that even the more complex points were broken down in a manner that anyone could read and understand. The book really serves as a manual, walking through the whole process of DAM from start to finish and giving you the information required to suit your specific needs. At the end of the day that is what DAM is about, although we can never really get a system that “fits all”, as long as we are provided with the appropriate impartial advice, from individuals such as Elizabeth operating ‘agnostically’, we can make informed decisions to reach our end goals. I would definitely recommend the work to anyone starting out on a DAM journey but would also say that professionals and vendors would benefit greatly from the knowledge imparted within.
