Best knives in the world, period.
These are the best knives for cooking and the perfect size for almost any need. Super sharp! Highly recommend them. Always make sure the twin little guys are stamped in the blade - these are authentic and made in Germany.

I had no idea!
I was looking to upgrade our dept store kitchen knives and, after researching, opted for this Zwilling combo because it compared very favorably in steel quality and sharpness to flagships like Mac, Shun and Wusthof, with a price point lower than their single chef's knife. I had no idea what a legit knife could do! This evening, I made tuna salad using fresh herbs and vegetables. Honestly, as an amateur home cook, I had no idea how sharp and efficient a knife could, and should be!

Super sharp knife
I have always been a fan of these knives, and my purchase did not disappoint. The pairing knife cuts through anything like it's not even there and the 8" chef's knife does the same. They are amazing knifes that are incredibly well made and sharp. Good steel, well crafted, I couldn't wish for a better knife.

Softer steel than I expected
I set out to get a set of premium kitchen knives. After research, I determined that a Germans set of Henkel Professional S was a good option for me. When the knives arrived, they cut cleaner and better than any knife I’ve ever owned. But, I was disappointed to see mild edge damage to the paring knife with only about 6 weeks of use, leading to a very dull blade. The only use for these blades was kitchen; vegetables and such fir Neal prep. No bones or anything harsh. I was more than disappointed in this, I expected these knives to last a long time before requiring sharpening. Overall, I don’t think I’d recommend if you want a hard knife that will keep a sharp edge for a long time.

Great combo.
****UPDATE **** Prices fluctuate wildly depending on the seller, wait for it under one c-note like I did*** Saw this set on sale for less than the price of solo twin 8" chef's knife. So I pulled the trigger. The chef knife is very nice. It balances very nicely at the first finger behind the guard because of the heft of the full tang. It takes a nice edge and cuts beautifully. The 4" is also a pleasure to use. We previously had the Henckel 8 inch chef knife made in Spain and it doesn't have that hefty tang it doesn't balance quite the same nice way in the hand. This one also keeps its edge much longer and is easy to get crazy sharp. Very nice knives for the price, don't hesitate great value set for a single Benjamin.

A pair of knives that can take you a long way in the kitchen. Superb quality, terrific deal.
I am having a blast using my new knives to prepare meals. This was a fantastic deal (as in less than $100), and I finally own a small but very useful "set" of Henckels knives. My dad has been a long-time fan of the brand for decades, and I feel proud to continue in his footsteps. I was hesitant on if I should order the 6" or the 8" chef's knife, but when I saw this promotion for both knives at quite an amazing price, my decision was made on the 8" that is included in this package. I am very glad that I did! The 8" is large but it is a necessity for most kitchens because it can be used for slicing large pieces of meat, to vegetables, fruits, fresh herbs, as well as the versatility of being used for small jobs as well. The paring knife is terrific for what it obviously is for, but I use it sometimes to chop smaller things like green onions, cherry tomatoes, and other such vegetables. These knives are wonderfully sharp and allow you to prepare meals effortlessly. I'm a small-framed woman and I have absolutely no issues with the chef's knife; it feels very comfortable and natural. If you love to cook, I would definitely look into investing in at least one, quality knife. It's worth it. The deal for these two is nearly two for the price of one, so if you can snag it at a good time, go for it!
