Q: What is 'nfc compatible'? can i keep my work access card and my transit card in there, and somehow they won't 'clash' if i swipe the whole wallet?

NFC compatible means that the wallet is not built with a liner that will block a signal to/from an NFC card. You should be able to stack your cards and have NFC readers read any one in the deck, no matter the order. You can still have issues if the cards themselves block the signal. Test your cards by holding them up to the reader with no wallet. Try one card in front and then the other. If your card is read either way, neither card is blocking the other. If you find one card blocks the other, you can scan one side of your wallet and then the other if your card isn't read first. Hope this helps! Rebecca at DU

Q: I have about 4 credit cards and 4 thinner cards (ID, insurance, library card, etc) and thin registration papers. Will this hold all?

I have 4 standard, 2 thin cards, and a $20 bill. I could add two more thin cards but I would not recommend anything more. I do like the wallet; it is in constant use.
