Doing the job nicely! For reasons unbeknownst to me my duffle bag (that I am currently keeping my air mattress, air pump, small pillow, and 3 mexican blankets in A.K.A. "bed in a bag") started to get a little moisture in it. I honestly don't know why, maybe plastic form the mattress out-gassing, or maybe just the humidity in the South Eastern Texas air, I don't know. What I do know is that I cut the top off of this 20 pack and put the whole dang thing in the duffle bag and it seems to be keeping the moisture out fairly well. Don't know how silica gel really works but hey, what the heck, its ding the job. Got my recommendation for sure.

These are great little things to have in the kitchen I use them in spice bottles salt and pepper shakers to keep the moisture out. I live in Florida and it's so humid at times that the salt gets very damp and clumps up. These little packets help to prevent that.

I offer placenta encapsulation to women who have just given birth. Preparing these capsules is a very time intensive process and there is only so much material to produce the capsules from. I try my very hardest to get as many capsules as possible from each and every placenta. Desiccant is very important to help protect the finished capsules from being damaged from any moisture in the bottle. I ordered these packets and they have worked amazingly. They were tightly vacuum sealed upon arrival, so I know they have not been absorbing any moisture prior to reaching me!

I've purchased these on several occasions here and never had any problems. I live in a humid area near the water, so I try to store everything I can with these packets. I keep them in my ammunition cans, firearm cases, and knife bags... and so far haven't been let down. Money well spent, and until I have a reason to get them elsewhere I will continue to use these. One of the orders I received disappointed me, being that the packets were sloppily vacuum sealed in a makeshift pouch. I used them anyway and haven't had a problem... so its all good.

Work great. My wife and I do a lot of gardening. A lot of gardening. And we do a lot of seed collecting of our various crops and plants. And even if taking all necessary steps to properly dry seeds prior to putting them in bottles due to climate where we live moisture can build up inside the jars and cause mold, etc. These silica gel packs take care of any moisture buildup over winter when the seeds are in jars. They work.

The description on the page says it's food safe however the package says not to place it in a closed package because of the gases in the packet. I purchased them to place in jerky packets to keep the jerky dry. I have to close the bag. Not sure if they are food safe or not.

I bake a lot of treats to share with friends at work, and I always was frustrated that certain candies or desserts would sweat because of the temperature changes during the commute. I read somewhere that these packets could help, especially if you are coating something in sugar crystals that you don't want to just melt or get absorbed. I know there are special sugars or coatings that you can use for certain things, but this seemed like a much more universal solution and it has worked great so far! Also, I tried throwing one in my sugar jar and now I don't get clumps anymore!

I use the very fine powdered pure popcorn salt sold by Yoder Popcorn Co. It's a real gem of a product: Maximum salt flavoring while actually using less salt-- except when things get humid. The salt cakes up and has to be slowly heated to drive out the moisture. This is inconvenient. These Dry Packs are a splendid surprise. Using them from first delivery, the caking has been banished, and the salt comes out like a fine dry cloud. Excellent product.
