It’s good, but if you have thick hair I don’t think it would work well. My hair is fine and it turned out nice, but it took me some effort to get rid of the frizz. That’s the only reason I wouldn’t recommend it for thick hair.

It makes your hair straight. It works. Heats up like a regular curling iron but it's a lot more manageable and takes a shorter time to get results.

I know I'm in the minority because I really haven't seen a negative review for this item. I have naturally wavy hair and have been using a flat iron for years. I kept seeing ads for this and how wonderful it was so I gave it a try. It does indeed straighten your hair. You still have to go through the same process as a flat iron by sectioning and using tension as you go downn so it was not any faster nor did it do a better job than the flat iron. It definitely lets you get closer to the roots without burning your scalp. However, it does not straighten all the way to the ends. Once you get to about an inch or two to the end, there is no way to keep the tension so the ends come out of the comb and left my ends still frizzy and left a little curl - up or down depending on if you use it from underneath your hair or from the top. Also, you cannot use the same way you would use a comb or a brush. You have to section and place the section of hair in the comb. I wanted to love it but I don't. I will be returning.
