Ilford B&W Paper 8X10 Multigrade IV 100 Pack (Pearl)

In the spring, I took my first B/W class, and I purchased a 25 pack of this paper. My thinking was that maybe I would just use two or so packs of paper for the semester. I was broke, and the price difference did come into play. Always remember: you will use more paper than you anticipated. Whether it's due to mistakes, or just developing a love of the darkroom, you will use the paper. It always sucks to be so close to the perfect print, you reach for another piece of paper, and BAM! No more paper!As far as this specific paper, I love it. It prints well, and I prefer pearl. Enough shine to be pretty, not enough to look ridiculous.

bought this for my photos class so i won't have to buy the arista b/w glossy photographic paper that my college sells. if you're someone who dislikes fingerprints then go ahead and purchase this paper. but beware about scanning this type of paper because you will get what looks like noise which i can suspect results from the pearl aspect from this paper; glossy prints scans effortlessly w/ more contrast as well. but don't get discouraged buy this paper! the quality is above par. 100 sheets lasted my 2 semesters btw!! so this is a great deal! ilford is always a dependable brand their b/w film is great too

Great grade paper, works wonderful for my B&W beginning photo class.... -1 star because the price shocked the poop outta me for a box of paper, but I realize its all expensive haa haaa..I have purchased 3 boxes of this now and never had an issue. Gives great variations of color in my black and white photos (have not used for color photo's so not sure how they work for that) but for mine its fabulous

I purchased this for a photo class and I did notice that the first two sheets that I pulled out of the bag had cuts on the bottom corners as if they were sliced by a box cutter. of course I couldn't find the tear in the bag because I'm in the dark room and you can barely see.

Great product! Only downside was that my box had come open when I picked it up for the first time. The se wasn’t taped on and the first few photo papers were damaged. It happens all the time I’m sure. I highly recommend!

I needed this paper for a beginning film photography class and my university was selling it for $169 a box. Deciding to look elsewhere, I was pleased to see it here for $75, which was more than reasonable considering the alternative prices.The pearl coat is beautiful and the paper comes wrapped in a light-tight black bag.Thank you!!

Recibí el paquete a tiempo. El sello principal rasgado, las dos de los lados bien. No parecía estar abierto en su totalidad. Lo probé en cuarto oscuro y sin problemas. Pero al ser un producto foto sensible debe ser tratado con más cuidado. Ilford solo usa una bolsa que es muy segura pero si los sellos fallan, fácilmente se dañaría todo el contenido.
