Yes. I use it with Dragon 12 Basic. It picks up dictation better than the mic that came with Dragon.

Where can one get spare ear cushions for this headset?

Hi Lailah. I heard back from Plantronics and was told this headset "does not have replaceable ear cushions." I find this a strange response since they are easily removed. Anyway, I kept digging through Amazon and have found some generic 2 inch ear cushions stated in the description to work with Plantronics. You get 5 pair for $7.99. As of March 2017 and OS X 10.12.4, this headset will NOT work with Macs. It produces a stuttering on both microphone in and audio out that makes it entirely unusable. Plantronics support is aware of the issue but has no solutions. How long is the chord since I need something a bit longer than the standard 6 foot chord due to the position of my computer...

If you need more length, I would suggest a simple USB (2.0/3.0) extension cable. Since the signal is digital, there should be no change in sound quality with an extension cable, granted the cable works correctly, hence why I imply to make sure it supports at least USB 2.0.
