Worked great for plexiglass
I used this hole saw to cut an opening into the side of a hamster enclosure that I built. I was able to make a perfect sized hole to connect a tube which leads to another small enclosure that our new pet can go explore. She loves it! I’m new to using power tools and was able to figure this out without too much difficulty. The hole saw teeth are sharp and the arbor and pilot bit are sturdy - the whole thing took me less than five minutes.

Backyard Golf Dream: Easy, Sharp, Fun, Just Wish for Deeper Holes! ⛳🌿🎉
TLDR: Perfect for creating backyard mini golf, sharp and sturdy, but holes are shallow. ⛳🌿👍I had this grand vision of transforming our backyard into a mini-golf paradise for friends and family. The master plan? Real golf holes in the ground. And let me tell you, this tool was the MVP of the project. The serrated edge on this bad boy is sharper than my wit at a family gathering. We're talking serious heavy-duty vibes, way more robust than I anticipated. It carved out those holes like it was slicing through butter.Size-wise, it's spot on – a mirror image of an official golf hole. It's like having a slice of the Masters Tournament right in my backyard. But, there's a tiny "putt" in the fairway – it only goes about 2 inches deep. So, the holes are more like dimples than craters. Still, it wasn't a deal-breaker. Our backyard golfing sessions didn't miss a beat.

Doesn't include 3/8" arbor.
I had no prior experience with hole saws, and some info from the other reviews made me very confused. After buying this and few other products, maybe this could save someone some headaches. This hole saw includes a 1/2" arbor and two 3/8" drill bits. You could use the drill bits directly on the hole saw without the arbor, but there's a chance that due to the heat and torque it could become fused in the saw and impossible to remove, which is what happened with mine. Judging from other reviews, the drill bits sometimes break, so then you would end up with a useless hole saw.The 1/2" arbors have two metal cylinders that are meant to stick into the holes adjacent to where the drill goes. These prevent the drill from over-tightening so that it would always be possible to remove afterwards. The general wisdom is that 3/8" drills are only good for up to 1-3/8" hole saws. For example, Dewalt doesn't even manufacture a 3/8" drill for large size holes. However, some other companies like Milwaukee does. I recommend getting the 3/8" Quick Change Large Hole Saw Arbor (49-56-7250) for about $25 from Home Depot to use with these hole saws so that the drill bit doesn't get stuck and break. These have the cylinders that prevent over-tightening.I'm only cutting PVC to make hydroponic reservoirs, and after a few holes the paint starts to come off at the blades. The blade itself seems intact. I see the negative reviews are cutting metal or harder materials. It would seem that regardless of marketing, it would probably be a good idea to get a more expensive hole saw with carbide tips for harder materials.Of course, if you're only cutting a couple holes and this is the only size you need, then maybe you wouldn't care that the drill is stuck on the hole saw, and you could take a chance to cut the holes you need before it breaks.

Drilled very accurate hole
Used it about 4 times so far and all 4 times it worked well. It fit nicely in my drill and was able to keep even pressure on it as it drilled very clean hole for my squirrel nest box project.

Drills great
It drills out holes for 6.5 speakers very well. I was impressed with the tool. Just take your time using the tool because it is very sharp. Where eye protection when using tools like this.

Arbor Does Not Lock In PLace
This is an okay hole saw - I've used it to drill a few holes for recessed lights in drywall with some success. It has a design flaw, however. The arbor threads into the hole saw, but there is nothing provided to 'lock' the arbor into place. (This feature is only provided in hole saws 5-3/8" and larger from this seller.) When you're using this hole saw with a cordless drill with electric brake, when you let go of the trigger the drill brakes to a stop, but the hole saw can continue to spin, and will unthread itself from the arbor. You have to be careful to hold the drill upright until the saw stops spinning, or it can come flying off of the arbor. This caught me by surprise the first time I used it - I'm lucky there was no damage caused.

Fast&furious
Bought this hole saw to enlarge a hole in my garage for a vent fan. It states it is not quite 3” in diameter but it worked perfectly to make the hole 3”. Garage has a “double” wood siding type design and is made of good hard wood as my garage is quite old. This saw made quick work of cutting the wood out and suffered zero wear to the saw itself. It is a good quality product.Only downfall is that the arbor will tighten up to the saw making it very hard to remove it but that is not really necessary as it is a single saw.Box is in Chinese but the saw itself is clearly marked in English.Comes with TWO extra bits as well as an Allen key to loosen the Allen screw holding in the bit and is easily accessible from the top of the tool.A nice spring is with the bit which helps in removal of the plug.I’ve only used it once so far but it seems to be a well made product.A+ would recommend.

Got the job done for less.
Saved me $25 rather than going to the hardware store. Well worth it. Carved a perfect hole to wire up an extra closet ceiling light.
