Nice and pretty hair pin. I would say that it must work better (not slip so quickly) if used with thicker hair. My hair is thin, it works and doesn't slip immediately but I do need to readjust frequently. Other than that it is a nice looking hair accessory, a nice alternative to those traditional metal hair pins.

I wear these in the house but not outside because they sometimes pop open. I like them because they don't pull on your hair, so if thats something you're interested in they might be worth i, but just bear in mind that theyre a bit unreliable.

One of the images shows a model with thick, dark hair using this clip. My hair is not as thick as that but this hair clip still can't cope with it. The amount of hair you can fit in it is much less than a normal wire hair pin. If you put in too much it is impossible to close the pin. If you don't put *enough* hair in it just slides off after 10 minutes.Also it is very difficult to close the pin even when it has the ideal amount of hair in it, and by the time you've managed to achieve this your hair isn't in the position it started out, and probably looks a mess.

I got these a month ago now when I realised how damaged my hair had become from strands being broken when using metal hair clips and slides for a few years. I have a lot of very fine straight hair and these stay in well when I get the right amount in - you cannot stretch them open because they would snap so you have to be a bit more precise. I have been using 2 to hold back my fringe and they stay in as well as standard slides do. The kink my hair slightly but also not as much as my old metal hair clips. I'm really happy with them.

I'm a fan of the brand and regularly use their hair bands so was really pleased to see them expanding their offering which I hope they will continue doing. Unfortunately this item was a major letdown. The material is really brittle so there is barely any 'give' or flexibility to it. On first go using one, it snapped immediately and I wasn't being forceful or twisting it in an unholy manner! No wonder they give you 3 in a packet... Honestly I've been a bit too scared to have another go for fear of snapping the others. The design looks interesting and maybe it does something but not if broken into 2 pieces. Unless you're somehow able to try one first & feel it would work for you, don't bother buying.

Had seen mixed reviews for this product, but needed a clip to hold the front of my hair back so thought I would give it a try. Very happy with purchase, holds my curly hair off my face, doesn’t hold much hair so you may need to consider this. Great for curly hair as it’s easy to get in and out without getting tangled. Others have said the plastic is too brittle and breaks but so far none of my 3 clips have broken.

I love these hair grips, and have bought several packs in the past. They are very gentle on my Afro hair, and do not pull or rip my hair out. It is important for me to use accessories that do not stress my hair or rip it out when trying to remove it. I recommend this item.
