Our granddaughter was given this as soon as she came home and still loves to look and listen to it at sixteen months old, we brought another for our next grandchild soon to arrive. The sea, wave sound is beautiful and really soothing, the warm light from the sea horse tummy is also calming. Whoever conceived and designed this little fella did a great job.

It's very cute and does what it's supposed to do. It's just a little something fun to keep here for when the grandkids visit. The quality is good of course. It even came with batteries already inside.

My one year old received the blue version of this toy as one of his Christmas gifts and payed it little mind in the playroom. When he started having some trouble getting to sleep at around 17 months, we tried offering it to him at bedtime and taught him how to activate it. Huge hit! It’s a great size for cuddling, the music is soothing and soft, and he is enamored with the light. I also really appreciate that it can be machine washed. He turns it on every night when we lay him down in his crib, and I occasionally hear him turn it on in the middle of the night or when he wakes up early in the morning. It has really helped him get to sleep more happily. I highly recommend this toy, with the caveat that it’s not necessarily a sleep miracle for all children. My four year old asked for her own seahorse, so I got her one for Valentines Day. She is good at getting to sleep happily and loves a stuffed animal, so I figured she would be quite satisfied with it. She was, of course, but I did not realized that much of her satisfaction would come from repeatedly activating the seahorse to use as a reading light. I let it go for a few hours before I intervened. Anyway, this toy has been well loved in our house 100% of the time, but only worked well as a sleep aid 50% of the time. Still a great purchase!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my (then) 3 month old son, during the 2022 holiday season, as I've heard many positive reviews about it. It's a pretty good plushie, has a nice variety of tunes (one being something I hadn't heard since I was a 1st Grader way back when), and the little bubble/ocean sound effects are very soothing. My son is now 6 months old and is currently teething and in the "separation anxiety" phase (I can't even go in the kitchen and grab a glass of water without him screaming like I abandoned him). Whenever I give him the seahorse plushie and turn the tunes on, he calms down alot. He loves this little thing so much, it goes everywhere with him (whenever we have to go somewhere or it's with him during naptime and bedtime). My 4 year old daughter also loves this plushie, as well. Unfortunately, she keeps taking it from her baby brother. The only minor complaints I have with this toy is the music is a little too loud and the light on the seahorse's belly is a bit on the bright side. Although it hasn't been a real issue for my son yet, I do wish there was a switch to turn the music and light down to a quieter and dimly-lit setting.

I can't not tell you how many of these I've boughten over the years. I give these for babysitter gifts. They also have a pink one, so that's a plus. I always tell them to play the music while the baby is still in the stomach so they get used to it. You would not believe how many people thank me. When the baby is born and says it keep them so calm. Plus the music is so soothing and doesn't get annoying. Definitely a must buy, it also functions as a night light. The battery last a long time. I can go on and on about this. Trust me, it is way worth it.
