I like everything about this except...
I had this installed because, thinking ahead, when I'm old I may not want to bend down to use the manual controls on a recently installed bathroom in-the-wall heater. The dial is very stiff and I imagine it won't be easy for an old person to turn. Otherwise the controller seems perfectly fine.

5 stars...I think
I purchased this thermostat hoping that it would possibly be better than the previous Honeywell/Cadet model. I was tired of the accuracy of the previous model being +/- 20 degrees. It’s hard to test a thermostat for accuracy in August/September but my initial test is that the thermostat set to 72 actually heated house to 72 degrees. What a concept! But only time will tell.Someday I’m hoping for an actual line voltage WiFi thermostat that works with Cadet fan-forced wall heaters at our vacation home. So far, no luck!

Pass on these
Purchased 7 of these to change all mine after putting in new baseboard heaters and over half of these did not work. Junk

Easy to Install but the Number Scale is Meaningless.
I bought this inexpensive thermostat to replace a malfunctioning thermostat. Installation was easy, and the other thermostats cost far too much. I am completely happy with what I bought but other members of my household are dissatisfied. To operate this thermostat you turn the dial all the way to the right, then you wait until the temperature in the room is about where you are comfortable. You then ease the dial back to the left until the heater turns off.Ignore the number scale printed on the dial. If you think the number scale printed on the dial is important, this thermostat is not for you. I'm not kidding. Ignore it. The number scale printed on the dial has nothing to do with reality. It is *decoration* and nothing to take seriously. Remember, you did not pay for accurate measurements.
