Difficult to read. Uses notation which is different from other texts.

Best book to learn fundamentals
It's one of the best book to learn abstract algebra. It doesn't comprised of lots of advance topics like other abstract algebra book but it's an excellent book for beginners. Even if you are preparing for UPSC CSE Maths optional it's going to work as a foundation for abstract algebra portion.
