This wire cover works great and definitely will protect your pets - unless they chew it aggressively and chew through it (but that would take quite a bit). It's a bit of a challenge to install just because the slit (that runs the length of it) makes a tight fit. I found that by using some kind of tool (like a screwdriver or pen) to run the length of that slit at a 45 degree angle (to make sure it is not still joined along that slit and opens OK) makes it easier to put over the wire/cord. I would definitely recommend it.

Very hard to install. Difficult to protect long cords

The worked wonderful. Our puppy kept trying to chew each and every cord. I bought these and put them on each and every cord and the puppy does not bother them anymore. She can't chew through them and shows no interest of pulling them off the cord.

Great for all electric cords. Need for the cats not to chew cords.

One of my cats is a chewer and loves to chew through phone chargers. She avoids these cords though. I have ordered this 3 times and will continue to order as long as we need them.
