The Power of Praying for Your Adult Children Book of Prayers (Milano Softone)

I have purchased multiple copies of this little prayer book to share with other parents .... especially those with difficult family relationships. Most of the prayers are easily applicable to people of all ages. It is tiny, but the prayers are very powerful, so it is my go-to resource to guide my prayers for my son & his family. There are other editions of this book, but this one is still my favorite! Stormy O'Martien has a wonderful way of expressing what is on my heart.

This little gem is perfect for parents like me who find themselves lacking in focused, purposeful prayer for their adult children. There are 60 short prayers in this book that cover such topics as life purpose, purity, relationships, stewardship, marraige, etc. I am going through the book and praying for each of my three children daily. When I reach the end, I'll just start over at the beginning. This has really helped me in my prayer life, and I highly recommend!

This is a beautiful book. I was surprised at how small it is but I should not have been since the description says you can carry it in your purse or pocket. I could have ordered this for my Kindle app because that's how I read most of my books these days but I really felt like I wanted a book to hold in my hands and make notes and if necessary so that is why I ordered the actual book. But when you order the book you have the option to download a sample which I did last night and read it. And I knew I just was going to be a great resource but I'm glad that I ordered the actual book because the layout is really nice and attractive vs The Way It Is in digital form. Unfortunately our adult daughter has cut off all communication with us due to an attack from the devil perpetrated through a book called Boundaries which proclaimed itself to be biblically based but it's nothing of the sort. I know that I don't need a book to help me pray but I feel like it's going to encourage me that I'm not alone as well as offer some prayers to use

This is a must-have for parents of grown children. We no longer have control, but our Father in Heaven can move mountains! And He does it much better than we could ever do it. This small book is NOT the full book on the same subject by Stormy Omartian, but filled with perfect prayers for a parent's heart. I read the full book and have been praying for my adult children. And then ordered several of these for MY parents so they can pray for me and my husband! It's never too late to start praying for your kids. Thank you (again), Stormie!

Love how this little companion book is a compilation of all the prayers in the main book, "The Power of Praying for Your Adult Children" by Stormie Omartian. Stormie has hit all the crucial areas of concern parents have for their adult children and provided much wisdom concerning each. She also has collected such incredibly appropriate scripture verses to use in prayer over these crucial areas. I keep a stock of these prayer books on hand at all times to give to friends in my age group (those with adult children) who are struggling in the worry over their adult children. In my opinion, our prayer, and God's answers to those prayers, are the only way we can peacefully get through the concerns we have, and this book hits all the vital areas!

I love all of Stormie Omartian's books on prayer! They have been a huge blessing to me and have been instrumental in knowing what to pray for my children ever since they were very young. I feel confident in the prayer covering these prayers have provided and the peace in knowing that my children in secure in His loving arms! I also love the faux leather binding on this issue! It is very soft and feels nice in your hands! I wish more of her books were bound in the same covering. Would make a beautiful and lasting gift!

I am extremely pleased with this little book of prayers, it is exactly what I was hoping for. It is a little book of prayers that are worded skillfully beautifully and address my concerns as a mother of adult children. This little prayer book is indeed a great help for those who have difficulty articulating what they mean or have difficulty knowing what or how to pray sometimes. If you are new to prayer or have a desire to increase your faith through prayer this book is a tremendous resource, and will invite the peacefulness that a mothers heart needs to rest in. I love this little book and am very impressed with Stormie Omartian.

This is not the book I expected to buy. It only contains prayer words, it is too simple. It is even no contents in the book. I am so disappointed. It is also expensive.

Really excellent book. Nice format, fits easily into a pocket or handbag.
