Red Devil 3986 Skeleton 9" Caulk Gun, 9"

I have not actually got around to doing my project which I needed this gun. I've used similar ones before and this one feels to be a solid quality product. Looks good, feels good so far.** Update**I have used the gun several times now and it worked great. I did break it (user error) by squeezing the trigger too hard to get the last bit of caulk out. Thus causing the release pin to bend. I take total blame for that though, the product was exactly what I expected.

This caulking gun is a sleek and good looking tool. It functions well and is unbeatable for the price.

I wouldn't buy this if you plan to use it frequently, but I had just a small job to do and it worked well.

It may not have the poker or cutter, but for basic round the house use on occasion, this is it. I bought one for work (auto repair) and one for home (u name it repair). One thing to note that I learned the long, slow and hard way: Anything that comes out of a caulk gun, can get hard before you even use it / it expires. That said, it will break any caulk gun you use.This one fits the bill and the price is right. Buy two, cuz when you need one in two places or two people doin it, or the first one breaks, they are cheap enough to get two. Thanks.

why would you buy a more expensive caulk gun this works great and the price is right highly recommended.

Is not easy to handle if you have large hands. Didn't notice on the ad pic, but the trigger side is flat. No finger grips. Guess I will keep it versus sending it yet another subpar quality item back. May have some occasional use around the house but it's definitely not designed for the professional

I work in the glass and window industry every day and a decent caulking gun is a must. These have become my GoTo gun even though the shop has mush higher end guns to choose from. We push silicone and paintable caulk all day and this gun is super smooth for the money. I have bought two... one for the shop and one for my on site tool kit.

As someone who has used the squeeze tubes of caulk from the home improvement store without much success, I was very pleased with the job using the Red Devil 3986 Skeleton Caulk Gun and caulk. It was much much better.
