These are so cute and sturdy and very well made. I was expecting the individual pieces to be much larger though. I measured the pieces and each one is a 1.2 inch per side square . I was pleasantly surprised to note that all are double sided and there are different letters on each side - no pattern there. And also I got 30 letters and not 26 so we can make more words at a time! Because of the size not comfortable having toddlers play with it and putting it in their mouth, but little older children is OK

These are made of wood, excellently carved, and well-painted. These are 'the real deal' and I recommend them to anyone looking for alphabet blocks. Ours are for use as props in an upcoming novel, but hey ... they're great!

The blocks are pretty true to the picture that’s advertised. They are small and evenly square on all sides so they stack nicely. The set includes the full alphabet and because they are double-sided there are repeats of some of the letters, which is nice if using for a craft or project or just using them to spell simple/short words. I like them. My toddler likes them. Note: I’d recommend them for children that are past the stage of putting toys in their mouth since these are wooden and quite small.

Like other reviews mentioned, these blocks are very small and not suitable for young children. However, they are good for craft projects. One main con is that some of the letters are repeated on the same block thus preventing certain words from being spelled out. In my case the letters E, K, Q, W, T, H and N were repeated on both sides of the same block. I would have liked more of a variety of colors but we fixed that with a variety of paint pens. And there are some painting snafu's but nothing major. Overall I like the blocks but found there aren't a lot of options out there to find such a set, especially in the original size(these are 1" blocks and I believe the original ones were 2" blocks).

These blocks are perfect for my son to create movie scenes with his Toy Story toys.

i was not expecting these blocks to be so tiny and some already have cracks!

My 3.5 year old loves these blocks! It is extremely difficult to find a toy that keeps his interest. He gets bored with similar hands on toys but not these blocks. I bought them primarily to him the alphabet and learn sight words. He loves to stack them high and knock them down. As he's doing this he is reciting letters off the blocks. Blocks are durable. He's had them only a few days but has knocked yhem down several times. Edges are not sharp nor do they cause splinters. Great product! Blocks are about 1". The carrying bag is perfect! My son puts his blocks back in the bag after he's done playing. He plays with these blocks 2 to 3 times per day.

They were cute but didn’t like that multiple letters were on the sides of the cubes. We planned to use as a baby shower game but the sides were not clear as expected. Still cute though.
