Combinatorics Problems and Solutions Paperback – February 21, 2013

Not really worth buying. It's pretty much just the formulas written in really big text followed by a handful of simple problems anyone could just find online.

I bought this for my math major son to mess with during his time away from school. He (and a couple of friends) zipped through the first half of the book but are now grinding their way through the second half with all the enthusiasm that only three math geeks can summon. I highly recommend it, at least as a gift to keep the skills sharp during the holidays.

The book has many good problems, but many of the solutions or wrong (or unclear whether we are treating objects as distinguishable or indistinguishable)

Very challenging, is as the title suggests with nothing else. In a few words, what you paid for.

This is a very elementary book. Very disappointing.. Suitable just for beginners .. The authors do not mention in preface on the level of the book.

Just what I was looking for: 206 exercises & problems with solutions.

Good price and delivered on time.
