Great book for an NFL lover by decade. Lots of material, photos and stats, both nostalgic and current. Photos and color quality are clear and bright. Perfect gift!

As a young NFL fan (specifically Chiefs fan) the 100 year history of the league is so intriguing. From the photography to the writing you can tell this book was well put together. In the endpapers you see pictures of great past and present players holding the golden NFL football. The chapter go by each decade starting with the founding of the American Professional Football Association to the NFL in the 2010s. In those chapters are stats of the decade (pass/rush leaders, champions, innovations, thing they’ve said hello/ goodbye to in the decade. The chapters also highlight great players of each decade along with quotes from reliable journalists. This book is great to have on your coffee table to pick up when you’re bored or for houseguests, it’s great if you have a young one trying to learn the history of the game and those who’ve made it great, and it’s great if your a collector of books (Specially sports books). This book is no way a hard read either. There’s a 0.000001 % chance you’ll find a word you’ve never heard of or have to look up in the dictionary. Beautifully written and gets to the points they’re highlighting and trying to make. If you’re a huge NFL fan get this book. If you’re a history buff get this book. If you’re one of those people who like to brag about the odd stats and facts most likely no one knows about ....GET THIS BOOK. It’s worth the money.

This is an excuisite history of the American game of Professional Football! It’s easy reading with a lot of photographs, both color and black & white. It summarizes the history of the teams and players. I highly recommend buying this outstanding book!

This is a fantastic book. It also creates many great conversations with guests and keep kids entertained. Looks incredible on my coffee table!

If you simplify the review - this is an easy 5-star book and truly does an excellent job covering the first 100 years of the NFL. Condensing 100 years into 286 pages of content is no easy task and nearly impossible to cover all the bases. At its essence - this coffee table has an excellent intro by Peyton Manning and Michael MacCambridge does an excellent job arranging stories from excerpts from books, magazines, newspapers, and interviews of men who have shaped the NFL. For NFL history buffs - you will notice work from Peter King, Frank DeFord, Myron Cope, Edwin Pope, and Roy Blount Jr. amongst others. Design wise - the arrangement of photos, the use of imagery with quotes lead to an elegant design of simplicity at its finest. Very clean and appealing to the eyes. By far it’s strength. I knocked it to a 4 based on some glaring omissions. With a compilation like this missing essays and profiles on The Fearsome Foursome, Ronnie Lott, Reggie White, Aaron Donald, Saquon Barkley was disappointing especially when you see profiles of Eli Manning, Matt Ryan, Patrick Mahomes, and Terrell Suggs. Overall though it isn’t enough to make less than a 4 out of 5. This would be a great addition to any library, gift for any football fan in your life.

Ships with no issues. Not damaged. Got as a gift and they say they've opened it quite a bit and the binding hasn't fallen apart.

This is a heavy well made well-bound full of information book I bought one for my stepdad and my dad and they both love it. I would definitely recommend this book for the football lover in your family

El libro tiene mucha calidad en cuanto al diseño y fotografías. En cuanto a la información, esperaba otra cosa. Echo en falta un resumen estadístico completo de cada temporada, con clasificaciones, cuadro de play offs, Superbowl... Pese a ello, es interesante para los aficionados a la NFL.

Para quem é fã da National Football League e de futebol americano, esse é aquele tipo de livro que não pode faltar na coleção. Organizado de maneira cronológica, com fatos interessantes, relatos e fotos que capturam perfeitamente os momentos que fizeram parte da história de 100 anos da NFL, inclusive com acontecimentos relativamente recentes. Um livro delicioso, capaz de prender nossa atenção por minutos e minutos sem nos darmos conta do tempo que passa. Excelente trabalho.
