Do not purchase. No planting instructions. 8 oz for $24.95 way too expensive!
$24.95 for 8 ounces tnnnof grass seed is too much money for too little grass seed! I planted the seed in October. Waiting to see what happens. No planting instructions. Would not repurchase this item

Need advice on keeping them alive
They sprout well, But they die about a week after. How do I keep them alive? I have tried different media and none have worked

Content size
The product was much smaller than I anticipated and I sowed it. It is up after germinating and I think I’ll need a lot more. This size is really for fixing a patch not seeding a lawn.

A pinch is all you need
Working on a slight slope and using a trick from another review from a different Amazon Vendor. made a few rows and planted seed with starter soil both below and above the seed. That was taking way too long so I started with a pinch of seed between my index finger and thumb and spread that amount of seed over about 1 to 1-1/2 square foot. repeated and planted about 1/2 of the bag in the area under the plastic sheet. The sheet of plastic covers about 10 foot by 12 foot area. I lightly covered the seeds with dirt removed from this same area (mostly South Carolina red clay). I then watered the dirt slowly (light mist from sprayer on a garden hose) and covered with the plastic sheet due to impending torrential downpours over the next few days. After a week --- nothing. Just under two weeks, I have fine blades of grass starting to grow. Added pictures from week 3 and week 4. Plastic cover has been removed for a week now and received its first rainwater at week 3. Much more growth and you can see I did not take special pains getting rid of the weeds before I started. So mixed in with the fine blades of new grass is crabgrass, Meyers Zoysia, and who knows what else. Still waiting to see if this stuff spreads like my other Zoysia grass varieties (Meyers and Emerald).

Not worth the money
The seller sends a package of seeds without a proper retail label and no instructions for use. If the price was a wholesale price I guess this would be expected - but it is priced relatively higher than most other seeds. The package also arrived late and the seller requires $4.11 of postage and a print out of the return instructions - I guess they believe they should earn a profit for this useless product even after the customer finds out they have been shipped an inferior product.

No grass.
After planting and watering, still no grass has grown. Not any way to tell whose fault, I just know there is no grass growing.

Great grass
This grass germinates just fine if follow instruction on how plant zoysias. Right soil temp, keep it moist, cover it with 1/4 “ soil. Zoysia is not easiest grass to start, but make great lawn chokes out weeds in second season. If want easy, micro clover, toss , water and forget.
