Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I mow grass and plow snow this product is awesome very bright someone thaught I was pulling them over the only down fall I have is it does not fit close to the window so it shines on the glass and lights up the dash and puts a huge glare on the windshield makes it hard to see out the window plan on putting a trim around it with black foam board to get rid of the glare great product though close to the mirror though

These are by no means as bright as the brand name warning lights but they certainly make me feel more comfortable when working outside my vehicle. The lighting may not be as bright, but the pattern helps to attract attention. Remember, these aren't about looking good; they're about being SEEN. I currently have a grill light but I've been worried that the flashing isn't above eye level. This light accomplishes that, which responders need on scene. I didn't use any suction cups; the design didn't fit my Expedition but I disassembled the visor mounts, placed the metal plates around them and tightened. No drilling was even needed, and it's been a couple months or more since they were mounted with no loosening at all. Regarding these lights, make certain that the fresnel will disperse, rather than block, the output.Because these are only one watt per LED, every lumen is vital. One only wishes that future designs will entail better LED chips or dual LEDs per lens. The electronics really do NOT cost that much. I chopped the switch and replaced with a different style, and the light will turn on and off, but the pattern selector no longer operates - my fault. When purchasing such items from overseas, remember to check all polarities to make certain that all functions will operate if you modify the switch. I've not bothered to correct my mistake, but I think it's a polarity between ground and positive.

Vehicle size matters
These lights look like they are very well built and easy to install, however, we are returning them. One thing that the discription doesn't show is the distance between the openings for the visor attachment points on the mounting brackets. An extension is included in case the bracket is not long enough, but if you are installing the lights in a compact or subcompact car the brackets are too big. Our Scion iM has a distance of 9 3/4 inches between the visor bracket and it's pivot shaft (the mounting points for the lights). The included brackets have a minimum space of over 10 inches between mounting points. We inquired and received a prompt reply that smaller brackets are not available. Too bad. The lights themselves fit in the windshield, but without mounting brackets they are useless.

Beware of burnt out lights!
Do NOT waste your time or money on this light unless you like burnt out lights! I bought the first light and it worked perfectly, next day I noticed the last light led on the drivers side was burnt out. I contacted the company and I was refunded my money. It was recommended that I buy the light again by the company so I did. Got the new light in today and same issue.....the last led on the drivers side is burnt out on the “brand new” light. I’m fed up at this point and will be taking my business elsewhere. I recommend you spend the extra money and get a better quality light.

GREAT TRAFFIC BUSTER
As most of you know, getting through traffic as a volunteer fire fight is almost impossible these days.mostly in part to everybody having all kinds of colored lights on their cars. Plus people just aren't educated about the BLUE LIGHT LAW. Here in New York, the only people by law todisplay forward facing blue lights, are fire fighters. this law just isn't enforced. So these baby's work awesome

Use creativity to mount
These are very bright and work exactly as advertised. I have a Chevy Tahoe and the brackets aren't really designed for use with my truck. I found the easiest way to mount them was to use the brackets but actually put them between the headliner. This requires removing the sun visors so that the headliner can be pulled down enough to slide the brackets between the headliner and the underside of the roof. They are held in place just by the fact that it's really tight once you put the sun visors back. I also had to bend the legs on the bracket down but it's really thin metal so it was easy. Lastly, I cut off the cig power and wired it to fuse box and ran the control wires to a box with a button in it. Much cleaner this way.

Pleasant Surprise
This fit my 2019 Ram 1500 classic quad cab with the extended brackets right out of the box.The tight fit did not require any additional support or adjustments for stability which was a great. It would be nice if there was a moldable fitted edging that could be cut to the contour of the windshield for flashback. The LED is super bright but time will tell us more about the quality. The longest part was trying to run and hide the cable back to the switch. I would upgrade to a more heavy duty switch.
