Brushed Black

You would think such a simple device would be easy for anyone to make. I found however that many other devices available are cheap looking (or feeling) and don’t stick or adhere well. Many also don’t have aesthetic appeal. I bought this one in black because our Bosch dishwasher has a black metal face and I wanted something that looked like it was placed there by the dishwasher manufacturer. I also selected this device because it was metal and the product description indicated it had very powerful magnets to hold it in place. Even though this device is on the higher side of the price spectrum, it is a fine example of “you get what you paid for”. It is indeed heavy metal with extremely powerful magnets with pads on the back that prevent the dishwasher from being scratched. It is aesthetically pleasing and has a quality look and feel to it that is undeniable. The only part of this device that is not black in our case are the letters for the words “clean” and “dirty”. If there are any drawbacks, it would be that the slider to go from clean to dirty and back needs to have some kind of detent or restriction to keep it from sliding so easily. I can’t imagine anyone buying this product would be dissatisfied as long as it looked the way they wanted to look on their dishwasher. Admittedly, I used this product’s magnets to make it stick to a metal surface. I can’t testify as to how well it would stick to a non-metal surface using the adhesive.

Our new dish washer has the controls on the top of the door, so when it is closed you cannot see any controls or display. The only indication that it is doing anything is a little blue light that shines on the floor while it's washing, but after it is done nothing. With this, whoever starts the dishes swipes it to "Clean" and when they are emptied it is left on "Dirty". This thing is just the right size. I can read it from across the kitchen and the black with white lettering looks perfect on our new black dish washer. The magnets are strong and the sliding bit feels good quality with a little bump when it is slid that feels nice.

I needed a way to keep my house hold informed about when they could add dishes. I tried other products...but most were larger and could not be seen well from under handle and/ or dish towel. This display is the right size to go above the handle. This item is well made, attractive, easy to read, and it stays put. A+ I did think a while before plunking down this amount of money, but it has been worth it. Helps keep us organized.

Great product! It is very well made and sturdy. The magnet is strong. So easy to use! Just let it magnetize to the front of your dishwasher and the little cover slides easily side to side to expose the words clean or dirty. I’ve been looking for something like this so my kids wouldn’t have to ask me about the dishes in the dishwasher. Glad I chose this one. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

This is the best clean/dirty sign I found. It easily magnetically adheres to the dishwasher without scratching. I would have given 5 stars overall but the sliding cover over the Clean/Dirty indicators tends to slide too easily. One slight brush of the thigh and you just moved it from dirty to clean or clean to dirty.

Adheres very nicely with magnets. No sliding. Also it doesn't get loose and slide on its own left/right. Overall a quality product to konw if your dishwasher has run or not.

This works extremely well on my new dishwasher, and looks great. Because it’s the same color as the dishwasher, it looks like it’s built-in. The magnets are so strong that it also feels like it’s built-in (kids won’t easily play with it), however, it can easily be moved by an adult as needed. The padding on the back is brilliant; you never have to worry about scratching the surface. I definitely recommend this product!

This little magnet is a game changer for my family. No one has to question if the dishes can go straight into the dishwasher anymore. Super strong magnet keeps it locked into place. Easy to read. Easy to use. I got the black colored one and I LOVE the look. Get this magnet. You know you want to.
