Look at manufacturers measurement, not Amazon sizing
I am size 10 to 12 normally, but I made the mistake of looking at the size guide put out by Amazon instead of reading the sizing information in the description. My bad. I will keep these just to lounge around the house, but no way can I work out in these. There is hardly any stretch or give to the material. They are really pretty, and as long as I am only sitting, they stay up, but I tried using my treadmill and they were trying to ride down. These do not come up to my true waist--they aren't hip huggers, but stop about an inch or two below my true waist.

Adorable mermaid shorts!
Love them! I'm a 12/14 with 35" waist and 45" hips and the XL fit perfectly. Nice leg length, good coverage, the material isn't miraculous but it's pretty and shiny and definitely worth the price.

Perfect for those with no butt!
These leggings are gorgeous and would have been perfect with my Christmas dress if I had no butt! I wear a 12/14 and ordered a L, I even ordered an XL just in case the L was too small. I couldn’t get the L over my calves, so I tried the XL, they fit my legs, however I could not get them over my butt. I would recommend getting a size 2-3 sizes bigger than what you normally wear if you’re a real woman with a booty.

Excellent for pole dancing!
I bought these for pole dancing and they work very well. Nice wide waistband doesn't dig in or roll. Inseam is short enough to expose enough skin to grip the pole for some tricks. Very cute mermaid pattern. I wear a medium in underwear and an 8 in jeans but have a lot of booty, so I bought the large, which are perfect.

Disappearing color
The fit of these shorts were great. The issue I had was after one wear the color disappeared in select spots creating patches of silver. If the color had held up I would have given these a much higher rating.

A little Small
They are a little small. The Black color does not have much of a iridescence to them.
