Bought As A Quick Fix
I've been through several different makes and models. This was the cheapest but the best of the bunch. I've used this to paint multiple rooms and ceilings and it has surpassed my expectations. Bought the Wagner which was more than double the price it packed up after only two uses, so I bought this one as a replacement to get me out of a fix. Not only did it succeed but it did a much better job too. Far less over spray than the Wagner. It's dead easy to use as long as you thin the paint down properly. This is a little time consuming but is absolutely necessary and applies to all of these types of sprayer. The adjustable power dial helps to get the right flow for the job too. When you've finished just take apart and rinse thoroughly in warm soapy water and flush it through till it runs clear. My biggest gripe is the cord is not nearly long enough. It really could be doing with at least double the length to allow you to scale steps to paint ceilings etc. I'm seriously considering replacing the cord with a 3m length.Secondly, the clogging is an major issue. As the sprayer gets hot it dries the paint and clogs the jet. I've found the only workaround is to clean the jets in warm soapy water after every 3 refills of paint. As much as this is a pita it still beats the hell out of rollering. Those gripes aside for £50 you cant complain. So far I've painted the entire upstairs of my house and the finish is superb. To put it into perspective I painted an entire ceiling of a large double bedroom including the bay in a matter of minutes. Would definitely recommend this purchase. The free extended warranty was an added bonus.

Spraying Ronseal fence life plus (YOU NEED TO BUY A PLASTIC FUNNEL)
Great product seems pretty well built I've used twice now and the results have been good. It does take some time to get the set up right so start on either a spare bit of timber or bit of wall thats less visable and dial the flow rate right down. Have a roller or brush at hand just incase you do get runs, but once set up correctly and you've got the hang of it you'll be flying. I was rattling off 6ft fence panels in about 4 mins with absolutely no runs at all. I used Ronseal fence life plus with the smallest nozzle and minimum air flow wide spread on the nozzle setting and adjusted the paint flow on the trigger to suit. I then used some left over Ronseal fence life paint from last year to give a gate a temporary quick lick and this was running on the same setting which was probably due to the paint being old. But this was easily combatted by slowing the paint flow rate with the trigger screw and the runs were easily smoothed over and mopped up with a roller which i then used on the narrow edges of the gate. All in all im very happy with the spray gun and would recommend it. I've got some concrete panels to spray and i don't doubt that as long as i thin the paint if necessary to the acceptable flow rate using thinners/water and flow cup it will work brilliantly.

Brilliant!
What a brilliant little machine this is.First impressions are that the box isn't very big, but the sprayer breaks down into 2 main parts so it's easy to store. The instructions are good and assembly is very easy. The only challenging part is making sure you have thinned your paint correctly and fitted the correct size of nozzle. Once you've experimented a bit and got your settings then it is just so easy to spray your project.I did 4 walls in the dining room in less time than it took me to mask off everything I didn't want to paint. Masking is important, but there isn't a huge amount of overspray anyway.Clean-up is easy too with emulsion as it only requires warm soapy water. The only reason I gave 4 stars for 'ease of use' is because of the time needed to get your settings and paint consistency just right. However, the guide on how to do it is informative enough that it doesn't take long to get the hang of it.

In my experience - a roller is quicker for walls!
I found it's a real faff to mix gloopy emulsion to the right consistency and test it through this little gismo, only to find that you have to water it down some more, etc. etc. Half an hour later, when you've also strained your paint through a sieve (essential BTW) you get a litre or so in the tank, which covers about 4m2, thinly (it will need another coat) and wetly. This takes about 5-10 minutes. Then you have to go through the whole process again. With an old-fashioned roller, you'd have covered the same area in the same paint time, and had spare to cover another 12m2 in the preparation time. Now - that said - I can see how it could be useful for textured surfaces like fences or external walls, if you have an already thin paint or liquid. If you have a specific use for this tool, such as spraying an awkward piece of furniture, then fine, maybe...If you're painting smooth internal walls, I wouldn't bother. Either get a bigger, proper wall spray for £300+ that sprays direct from the pot without watering down, or go back to rollers!Having said that - the instructions are informative and amusing - full marks for sense of humour - and the customer service is second to none: they gave me a no-nonsense refund and an extra gift, so fair play and full marks to No-Cry for that!

Great bit of kit but take time to prep!
This kit has been brilliant for making easy work of painting a breeze block garage and great value for money vs other expensive brands. It takes time to prep the paint to the right consistency and suggest getting a paint mixer attachment for your drill for ultimate speed and ease. However once ready to go and surfaces masked off it was quick and easy. It not only saves time but also frustration and fatigue as no crouching and stretching with a brush for hours. It is heavy, and for that reason limited paint capacity as more paint carried = weight. The cord is too short but easily overcome with an extension lead.
