Amazing Rice
I had read about this rice, and really wondered if it was worth the price. The texture and flavor are amazing. I love it as a dude with just a little butter. Worth every penny.

Best tasting rice ever! Glad I found this while visiting South Carolina. Even better that I can order it here on Amazon!

Great taste
I am not a white rice eater. But I saw this on a cooking show and thought I'd order it. It was more expensive but a little goes a long way. I keep the rest in the freezer. It has a great taste not like regular white rice. And so every so often, even though I'm diabetic, I make some of this for myself. And for me to like this white rice that's saying something!

Excellent rice, but costly
Excellent taste, and when cooked according to directions, it's complementary to most main dishes. It tended to be stickier than I had hoped for, even when rinsed and cooked with a dab of lemon juice. But the great flavor overrides the 'too-sticky' condition. I thought the cost was too high: that's my overriding complaint. With a lower price tag, it certainly would warrant 5 full stars.

iS THIS THE REAL STUFF?
Many years ago during a visit to Charleston SC I bought some Carolina Yellow rice at a farm stand. a 1 lb bag was something like $0.75. When cooked it was a light yellow color and very tasty/nutty. This stuff does not cook up same although it is a pretty good tasting rice. Seems like ordinary white rice. Not like the original I bought years ago in Charleston SC. I am wondering if this is the real - authentic Carolina Yellow rice, Also kinda pricy for what you get which before and after cooking is so similar to ordinary white grocery store rice. probably not buy again.
