Perfect for cruise
I hate having my dirty clothes at the bottom of a closet when I travel, especially on cruises. I usually just put up with it but when we booked a 3 week cruise to Antarctica I decided to try these. They were awesome! Kept my dirty clothes out of the way but together so I could take to the laundry myself easily if desired. Lightweight, probably won't stand up to super heavy clothes or hard use but we only needed one and the two pack is a great deal. A little tough to keep folded.

I got one & then purchased more.
What I originally needed this style hamper for was to use in a cruise ship cabin for dirty laundry. Worked perfectly! And as a bonus, during travel it helps keep clothes and things secure in the luggage bag. I use these in my small kitchen (since our washer / dryer is in there too) to categorize laundry prior to doing the loads. They are awesome for small spaces, as you can just quickly & easily pop it open to use & then quickly pop it closed and hang them or tuck them away for easy access that takes up barely any space at all. When full of laundry (vertical space instead of all over the floor) you can just slide it over to move it out of the way. No bending down for a plastic bin that is taking up more wide space and having to move empty laundry baskets around constantly because they’re in the way. They’re great for kids too as they’re so lightweight and flexible. I will be getting more soon to have a few extra on hand.

Perfect for Dorms or Apartments
These hampers are super dorm/apartment friendly and fold up easily. They do have handles, but depending on how full the hamper is, they are not that sturdy. While they are foldable, small, and compact, they don't seem to be made for being "full". My handles easily broke, which did not matter to me, but if that is a big concern, that is something to consider. If you plan on doing small loads, these would be perfect. Beyond the cons, I think these would be great for anyone short on space, or just need a small hamper.

Standing up for laundry.
These kinds of laundry bags are my faves. I love them because the are light weight yet sturdy. They stand upright with an open top so it is easy to get dirty or clean laundry inside with just one hand. I don't have to hold a fabric bag open with one hand while putting the laundry in with the other. That is especially important for someone like myself with mobility and balance issues. I can load laundry into this bag while holding onto whatever I need at the time to help keep me steady on my feet. Unlike baskets, though, these are easy to carry with one hand when loaded and will fold up to store out if the way. No floor space needed until there is laundry to load and carry. These are reasonably priced and were really affordable with lower holiday season prices. If you're looking for a practical laundry bag at a good price, rather than a more decorative laundry bin, these should be right up your alley.

Pretty durable but also light weight
I am an adult and this is perfect for me. Light weight and durable. However my kids will go through this one in a week and metal will be popping out. So take this review as you will. I think it’s the best option…unless it’s for a baby bam bam child.

Used weekly - lasted 5 months
Nothing wild, just two adults using weekly taking from our second floor to first floor. Structure of the hamper is fine but one of the handles ripped from the side about a month ago.

Good deal for price, not very durable
Capacity is good but gets heavy enough to rip the handles and mesh which is a bit sad but don't fill heavily and they will hold up for a while

Very flimsy, defective. Doesn't seem practical for laundry at all.
I ordered this double opening zippered version for eclosing butterflies and not for a laundry hamper, so I didn't really mind that it's as flimsy as I suspected it might be. I use another similar pop-up hamper for butterflies that only has one top side drawstring opening which can be problematic when they are forming their chrysalids near the opening and I can't open it without disturbing them. This two opening version with double zipper pulls at each opening seemed ideal because I could open it from multiple locations. I liked that it had handles so I could hang it from a hook on the ceiling out of reach from my kitties like I do with the other hamper.Once I popped it open though I quickly realized the larger opening zipper was sewn on backwards, so that the zipper pulls were on the inside of the hamper! The top opening was correct though. I realize I can return it as defective, but trying to get it folded up properly and back in the package only to be shipped back and then thrown away seems so wasteful and not worth it for $7. The zippers also seem very low quality and difficult to pull so I don't imagine they will last long anyways. The handles aren't much thicker than tissue paper and a lot of the stitching holding it together seems loose.I think this would be ok for butterfly use if it wasn't defective and I was really really careful operating the zippers. I don't think it would hold up to carrying laundry more than a few times though. Can't believe people put their cats outside in these either! I think if I tried that my cats would bust out in 5 seconds and then kill me.
