First purchased 1 of these Jan 2020. Just replaced now!! We have used these for our VERY strong Staffies and they are fab. Only replaced as our current rescue is very reactive due to past abuse and we wanted to be 100% sure about the lead. (Old lead on the left. It has never become tangled and always retracts perfectly. Just got a bit noisy now)

Very happy with this leader. Its a good size , great value for price, easy to use, comes out easy and in nice and smoothly, does'nt tangle up like some, happy with this lead

Lead is good on several levels. The lead section is a great length and has reflective stitching with no small cord section included which is a huge plus for me. It's easy to hold and the locking mechanism is excellent. It's also a reasonable weight for the size. The one negative is that the poo bag holder broke off within the first 2 weeks and had to be glued in place. Otherwise, it's a good retractable lead.

I am so disappointed to have had to write this review, but this was ordered on 16 December and started to be used after I collected my dog, Paddy on 2 January. Today, 12 January, I have requested a refund, as the lead has frayed and can no longer be used- straight to the bin it goes! I actually, liked the leash and the addition of a dog waste holder was also very handy, but quality is obviously not as it should be. I do not recommend buying this . Sorry!

Had this lead for 7 weeks and the locking mechanism has jammed and will not work. Waste of money. UPDATE:: Seller offered full refund for product, and very good customer service so updated review from 1 to 3 stars. Customer service top notch

Bought this retractable lead on the 2nd July 2025…!! This year, short of five months ago. I have always looked after it. If it gets wet I always extend it to full length to allow it to dry naturally. I have a Cockerpoo puppy that is coming up to ten months old, even now, he only weighs in at 12:2kg. I walk him three times daily for a total of approximately two hours. Sadly the quality of this product seems to be at the bottom end of saying “it’s poor”… Within a couple of weeks of purchase the lead kept locking while extended, which is quite dangerous in regard of the security of control of the dog running, or not, into roads. I put up with this as I found if I flicked the button it would release the lock and the lead would retract. Today 22nd November, while walking my dog I noticed that the tape has almost shredded through to strands about 5ft (152cms) up from the catch that attaches to his harness. The dog has never chewed this lead and besides, invariably this length down is usually within the holder still when street walking. Obviously I can’t use this product again after, as I said five months, need I say more…? Apart from, I need to buy another retractable lead… Suffice to say, I will be buying another brand…!!! Which obviously means I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product in any way. If anyone from the selling company are interested, I will hang on to this defunct product for a while so you can see for yourselves, if interested of course, the poor quality and lack of longevity this product gives. EDIT THE ABOVE….. WOW, what an experience I’ve had since this review. Company got in touch with me and I have to say they have been nothing short of magnificent in their reply and response to me since. I couldn’t ask for a better outcome. We constantly moan about poor customer service when we have issues with products don’t we..? Mostly I give it up….. NOT THIS COMPANY, they picked up my review, contacted me and subsequently I received a brand new retractable lead which is a grade up from the one I purchased yesterday December 7th. I am pretty much gobsmacked by it.. Obviously things can happen with products, usually we have to suck it up. Not with this company, I cannot recommend and thank them enough for taking the time and effort to ensure they have a happy customer. And trust me…. I AM…!!!! Thank you so much…

Very nice retractable dog leash, only time will tell in the long run if it lasts. So far very happy with it.
