Looks fun and easy to use!
Got this book to give to a friend with elementary-age kids. The projects look so fun and easy to follow along! They've also divided them by age so there's something for kids 6-9 or so. There are clear step-by-step photos of each step and the materials you'll need. I also really appreciated the materials substitutions notes -- although it looks like most of the materials can be found at your common craft or hardware store. One extra nice touch I thought was that there are parts of the projects that aren't just steps but "processes" where they encourage you to improve an existing design or troubleshoot something that isn't working. In these sections, there is support and ideas for kids to come up with their own ideas and solutions! Seems great for kids who like to tinker or make cool things.I don't think younger kids could follow along with this book on their own; they'd either need an older sibling/friend to help, or an adult. Seems ideal as a family activity.

Unique Do-able and Fun Projects for Kids!!
I got this for my nephews and nieces and they LOOOOVE IT. My mother uses it for quality and fun time with them (that's right folks even Grandma can use it with her grandchildren!!). I enjoy that this book encourages kids to add their own touches. It really pushes them to step outside of the process of typical how-to or project-based books. I also love that most of the items are household or common items. This is a great way to bring Camp Galileo home to your Kids.

Super fun!
My 9 year old likes the projects in this book. The projects need supplies, most of which can be easily found at home.

My grandchildren LOVE every project so far
My grandchildren are 8 & 10. They have been intrigued to build so many of these projects. Our grandson (10) has ADHD, and has been totally engrossed with these engineering projects. They are just challenging enough, but not so hard that they give up. The supplies needed for these are commonplace and inexpensive. Buy this book!

amazing projects and innovation focused lessons
Love that this book makes the innovation process tangible for my kids. They love the pictures and following along to make things they never thought possible (a vacuum? c'mon!) is a delight! Galileo's camps are simply the best and it's so fun to have these projects to share at home on weekends and school breaks. The kids can do many by themselves, too.

Excellent STEAM resource
I've used this for Girl Scout projects with kids ages 6-10. Fun projects with clear instructions and helpful coaching tips.

Awesome at-home projects!
I bought this book for my niece and nephew who love to create things at home, and they're so excited to dive into these projects (their parents are, too)! The book is easy to follow, has tons of knowledge, and most of the supplies can be found at home or easily ordered.
