Purchased these to use with our deluxe reactor lab and wasn’t disappointed! (You can also just use a bowl of water though, which would be fun too.) You get six reactor pods in this pack, each in it’s own nicely decorated sealed box containing a beaker creature, quiz, and identification card. The identification card is where you can write down the number of legs, eyes, arms, etc of your creature. This is a fun way to explore your creature. The quiz is educational and contains facts about creatures here on earth. So there is educational value in this more than just watching the thing fizz. That said, my five year old loves watching these things fizz - far more than any of the figures inside the pods. The joy of watching it is enough value for me. One cool thing to note is these seem fizzier than the ones l the deluxe lab comes with. The four pods in the deluxe set didn’t overflow the chamber. My child really wanted it to overflow. So far, only one overflowed and it was from this set. We still have four pods left to use. Suffice it to say She was thrilled! And so as not to deter parents - by overflow - it didn’t get on the floor. Just a bit on the tray that you sit it in. She loves the tiny explosion and mess. Cons - They are a bit on the expensive side but I nabbed then on sale so it made it worth it for use with the deluxe lab. Also, sometimes the fizz of darker colors splatter so take care on light colored leather chairs. I cleaned them off immediately after playing to ensure they didn’t stain! Finally, the set came in a pack of six and were brand new. Highly recommend!

My daughter loves these ohhh my gosh lol... They are messy honey but it's so worth the fun they ate going to have... This whole set will last about a few hours if you're lucky lol... We shared so many videos, that several people mailed them to the house just so she can do more videos lol... Her only complaint was that this series doesn't make as much bubbles as the first series... Trust me the bubble matter!! Great gift I'm telling you... My LO is 6 years old... My kids love these!!! They are fun to collect and a great way to add some science into their play! Reactions, classifying, identifying…. So much fun! Great for all ages!

My kids love mystery toys, blind bags and these Beaker Creatures. They’re little guys in a container that are in the middle of a dissolving egg, just submerge in water. It was fun to see my kids get so excited for the Beaker Creatures to hatch. Each Creature comes with a list of all possible Creatures, a quiz, and an info card. They’re a bit expensive compared to other mystery toys and we all wished that they were safe for use in the bath. Overall we had fun and they might make good gift every now and then.

We got to try out a 6pk of the Learning Resources Beaker Creatures Reactor Pods and the girls loved it! This was a simple yet fun activity that they could do themselves with adult supervision and in the end they discovered a fun creature. Each pod came with an info card and it asked questions and even had a card you could put identifying information about their creature on. I love that these girls love Science! Never to early to introduce STEM!

These are really cute. My son loved the surprise factor. They are kind of like bath bombs with a little toy creature inside. I love the science element of getting to identify and list the characteristics of your creature.

My kid loves these. They are very fun and great to collect.

The product it's self is great. It breaks great joy to my clients and my nephew. Just wish it was more affordable, as once they do one they can't stop. until there is none.
