Pool Safety Gate Latch - WHITE Magna Latch Full Size

With this my outdoor pool seems much safer. It is engineered well and easy to install.

Works awesome! The instructions needed to be read a few times and referred to while I did the install, as the mounting plates and the latch itself doesn't quite go together in a way that I found intuitive, but once installed it's very easy to adjust and latches nicely. Passed my code inspection by the town for my above-ground pool deck without issue.

They sent me a white pool gate latch, kind of like what pictured, but NOT what is pictured. I was looking for the identical model to the one I had that broke, the picture was the right one, but that is NOT what I received. That is just not right!

We've been using this as part of a safety gate at the top of our stairs for 6 months. We love the simplicity of the opening mechanism, and it was fairly simple to install. Today the magnetic pin came apart from the rod connecting it to the pull handle, locking the gate closed. Luckily I was on the same side of the gate as the baby, and during nap time I was able to detach the gate from the wall and fix it. There is no way to remove the latch hardware if it is stuck in the closed position. Great for keeping out thieves and the like but made repairs rather difficult. And after seeing the way the mechanism is constructed I would not be surprised if it were to happen again, and am somewhat disappointed at having paid a considerable amount for this item. That having been said, I still feel it is more secure than the average baby gate.

I added this recently with my new hinges. I just got them installed in fa so not much usage until the spring/summer

A bit pricey but works very well. Installation was not difficult.

It looks like a pretty good lock. Just make sure you align the bottom and top mounts before you screw them in. Make sure they are level and lined up, other wise the lock itself will not slide in.

did the job, easy to install and happy to have a functional locking system for code approval.
