Essential 10pc Baby Grooming Kit, Newborn Safety Care Set with Brush, Comb, Toothbrush, Nail Clippers, Nail Scissors, Emory Boards and Storage Case

I've only used this set for about a week now, so my review might not be the most reliable. I've gone through several sets like these in a couple of weeks' time and almost all the sets have negative reviews, not recommending to buy this set. You can't ever be too careful with your baby, so I weighed in the pros and cons of each set and went with this one.It's a nice set with the essential pieces to groom a baby. So far I've used the hair brush and the nail clippers. They worked very well. The hairbrush is very soft and is softer than the plastic hairbrush we got from the hospital. Due to the fact it's so soft, your baby's hair might need a couple of strokes to put the hair in the place you want them to be. But that's okay considering the fact that it's not hurting my baby's scalp. I'm willing to take that trade-off any day.The clippers were nice. A baby's nails are so soft (yes, I'm a first time dad) you wouldn't need to press the clippers that hard (I guess I'm using my nail clipping experience, where I have to keep pounding to cut off my tiger nails). There's no guard or anything like that built into the clippers, but I think you gotta be careful with a baby anyways regardless of whether you have a guard or not. So it's not a big deal for me. The box is also nice, although I don't have high hopes for the plastic that holds these items in place. It's probably gonna break after a while.All in all, a nice grooming kit for a newborn. I will update my review if I hit any bumps along the road with this set.

A great kit for baby. The Brush I especially like because it is very gentle on our baby's soft head. The nail clippers easy to use and less nerve-racking like normal sized ones on babies little finger nails. The nail files I feel are a bit of a waste, since babies nails are so flimsy and thin, you are better off just cutting them. But its nice to have extra little nail files for myself! ( ha)
