ZESICA Women's Summer Wrap V Neck Bohemian Floral Print Ruffle Swing A Line Beach Mini Dress

This is a great summer dress! I am getting ready for a trip to California to visit a friend and wanted a nice, versatile summer dress. I was worried about ordering online, since it’s pretty rare for me to find a dress that is flattering on me being that I am shaped rather like a teapot (short and stout). But this dress fit the bill! I’m excited to wear it on my little getaway!Sizing: I’m 4’11”, about 165lbs., wear a 38C bra, normally a size 12 in dresses and a 14 in pants. I am apple-shaped and carry my weight mostly around the middle. I’m typically a size large and I ordered this dress in a large and it fits well, so I would say this is true-to-size. I think the sizing of this dress is forgiving due to it being a true wrap dress that you tie yourself and is made to be flowy.PROS: Lightweight, soft, and comfortable- great for warm summer weather. I love the color and pattern! The length was great for me, just above the knee. I think this dress would be flattering on all kinds of different body shapes. It can be dressed up or down.CONS: On me, it was a little too revealing on top for my personal preference, so I will be wearing it with a cami underneath. To me, it is much more comfortable with that extra bit of fabric underneath for my own peace of mind. (You could also use a safety pin if you wanted.) One “ribbon” of the tie ends up very long and the other is much shorter, so it can be a little bit tricky to tie on the side. I noticed the tag says this is hand wash only. I just plan to use the cold water “hand wash” setting on my washing machine, so it’s no big deal for me, but just in case that is a dealbreaker for someone, I thought I’d include that here.Overall, I really like this dress and would recommend it!

I am obsessed! First, my specs- I am 5’6” normally 130lbs size Small and US 27 jeans. Currently 21 weeks pregnant 138lbs. I purchased a medium. If I were not pregnant I would order a small.The color of this dress is gorgeous! My heart skipped a beat when I saw it. Exactly as pictured. The fabric is amazing- so soft, light and airy. NOT see through at all. I’ve experienced This fabric in other garments and it is true, if machine washed it WILL shrink significantly. I plan to hand was cold and hang to dry.Fit- amazing. The length is perfect. Hits a couple inches above the knee even with my bump. I think I have room to grow In this. The top is a little big for me, I am not well endowed. It may be a bit large on top because I have to tie it above my bump. It is meant to be tied at the waste. But It is easy to tighten the top by twisting where the ties meet the bodice. This style of dress will be perfect for postpartum and nursing too!I was also worried there would not be enough fabric in the wrap to cover fully. In the picture the wrap looks like it stops short. But it is perfect! There is plenty of wrap coverage (see pic) even for my bump. There is zero possibility of it to opening while moving, sitting or in the wind.Overall- YES! This is my best maternity find so far. I already ordered it in 2 other colors. Can’t wait to wear it in warmer weather!

I’ve been seeing my boyfriend for ten years. He’s a great guy, but he’s not big with the compliments. He’s not mean or anything, he’s just a typical guy who doesn’t notice things like a haircut or new clothes.But I walked out to meet him this afternoon and he said, “Oh. Hey. I like that dress.” Holy cow!! That almost earned it 5 stars. (PS. I’ve worn it twice before to lunch with girlfriends and they both liked it very much too.)Now for my opinion: I think it’s great. I’m 5’4”, 136 pounds, 39 inch bust, I can’t remember my waist size at the moment but this is a wrap around so the waist is adjustable anyway. The only reason for one star off is that the color is not nearly as rich/vivid as shown in the photo. I wish the fabric had slightly more structure to it or, in the alternative, was a little more silky. It’s a little blah. But the cut is very good (*), the stitching is excellent, and it’s extremely cute and comfortable. I like that the sleeves are short, but still long enough and loose enough to compliment my 50-mumble year old upper arms. I love that it’s a wrap around and the waist is adjustable (for those fluffy days). The skirt is just above my knees and has a bit of flounce to it to make me feel younger and flirty. Bonus point for coming with a snap and thread so I could close the neckline where I’m most comfortable. (Not even necessary if you have the boobage to hold the top in place. I don’t, but the snap does the trick without being obvious.)(*I mentioned the cut because I bought a similar style dress from a different company on the same day. It was cut in such an odd way that the bodice was for a 36B one side and a 36D on the other. I sent that one back and it really made me appreciate this one even more.)Anyway, I like this enough that, if it comes in different colors and/or fabric patterns, I’m going to purchase again.

This is a true wrap dress so there's a hole in one side of the garment ypu slide the wrap belt through. I ordered the red and think it's true to color. I am 5' tall, weigh 160, with a large bust (34G) and wide hips. I'm between sizes and go between a medium and a large. I ordered a Large and it fits well but I could have fit a medium too due to the adjustability the wrap gives and the flowyness of this dress. So if you have a smaller chest you might be able to size down easier. It is a little chesty but comes with a button that can be sewn in to provide the desired amount of coverage. Very light weight and cool but not see through, perfect for the summer. Hits me right above the knees. I will probably be ordering in other colors
