Bought this for my niece as a gift. She loves plants and flowers and this book has a wealth of information and facts about the subject. I found myself reading through it because it was so interesting. She is going to be 9 years old soon and this book is for all ages (from kids to adults). Each page is filled with colorful pictures and information on specific plants, flowers, and trees that grow and thrive in different environments. She will love it!

They claim this book is for children but I think it is great for adults too. If you've had botany, it's a great refresher with gorgeous pictures. It is a beautiful book. I bought a second one as a gift for a friend who loves to garden.

I teach Environmental Education. This book is a great reference for students with excellent pictures and explanations. Worth the purchase.

We bought this book for my 82 year old mother-in-law for Mother’s Day and she absolutely loves it for two reasons it has great pictures and a great description under the picture she will sit for hours looking at the book. She worked in a flower shop in Maryland for many years when she was younger.

The book is stunning! Very beautiful! This is not the most engaging book for kids, even though it is stunning and highly educational. But as a supplement to biology studies it works great!

Informative. Great pictures

Bought this book to spark my boys interest in plants. The printing and illustrations are indeed beautiful, and it’s packed with fascinating facts. However, it didn’t really capture my child’s attention as I had hoped. After a few looks, it hasn’t been picked up again. A visually impressive book, but not particularly engaging for my boys.

Great intro level book to encourage further deep dive interest. Excellent selection of pics + concise text descriptions.

My 4 year old loves plants and he spends ages going through the pages looking at the pictures and asking questions. I learned a few things from this book too. Highly recommended.

This book is full of photos and really great for young and old. Probably aimed for older children I found this a boon studying for horticulture with well depicted explanations at a level I could absorb and understand.

This is a well structured book about trees, leaves, flowers, and seeds. Photos are stunning and my homeschooled children easily choose a topic they want to dive deeper just by picking one of the eye catching pictures. Highly recommend it for botany studies.
