Where can you get the spacers?

In my situation I didn't need any spacers. The grill is deeper than it looks. Plenty of clearance for the speaker to crank.

What is the diameter of the bars?

They are about a half inch in diameter. Quite a study piece all around.

My sub has a very high x-max how tall are the bars?

Specs show 1.5 inches, bottom to top. It is around 1.3 to the bottom of the grille where your sub could hit. You can always use washers to give you more room.
