Rosarita Nacho Cheese Sauce, 106 Oz. (Pack of 6)

I normally do not purchase a six pack of size 10 cans of processed nacho cheese sauce but when I saw this Rosarita brand case at a great price, I jumped on it. I mean, let's face it, we are going nowhere these days where we could even consider purchasing from a concession stand and we are eating things that we usually do not eat, just to experience some variety. Being fans of potatoes in any shape, color or recipe, my first thought as I awaited the package arrival was immediately baking potatoes and topping them with the nacho cheese sauce as a baseline. Nothing else, just the potatoes and sauce. Yummy! Then we added things like green onion tops, garbanzo beans. toasted nuts, candied jalapenos, potato chip crumbles, well you get the idea. I froze 1/2 cup containers of this stuff in the freezer and then popped them directly in a ziplock bag to take up less space and prevent them from getting lost, so we could take one out and pop it in the microwave any time the urge hit. They taste as fresh as when the can was first opened. Because the can is so huge, I shared some with friends and as soon as I receive word that someone needs more, I'll open another can. I personally love spices, so I doctor mine up with jalapeno peppers even though there is a hint of heat in this as is. (I'm also repurposing the cans because they arrived in perfect shape and make cute cans for the kids when covered with fabric or contact paper. Will be on the lookout for lids from other cans this size that are not as strong.)

Eleven friends at the house for games and snacks. Plenty of good food/snacks of all types. I decided to make a huge bowl of these 'ball park' type nacho's and immediately they were gone and rave reviews on how good they were. We went through two large bags of chips in an hour. The cheese sauce has a hint of spice. Just perfect for those that like spice and those that don't care for spicey. The can is 6lbs & 10-ounces, I took a plastic lid off my coffee can to cover it for the fridge and it works great. For the price, the amount and taste with some quality chips. This is a hit! We'll get another can for New Year's. We'll still have sliced meat & cheeses because some guests just won't eat cheese sauce like this and we'll include this to an array of vegetables and other healthy snack platters. We had no guest under 22-years old for game night. Yet I'm sure kids would love this product. Hope the price doesn't go up... the back of the can says 53 servings at 80 calories/50 calories of fat. Those are generous portions in my opinion. You wouldn't want to sit down and eat a half a can a day or anything, but it's still nice to say 'wth' every once in a while and enjoy life and great tasting food. I give Rosarita two thumbs up. WAY UP!

This is the best nacho sauce you can buy! Taste exactly like the nachos you get at ball games. My family loves it. However, it is sometimes hard to find locally. I was able to purchase it from Amazon. Had to buy in bulk, but that was OK. It won’t be wasted!

We needed some nacho cheese for a fundraiser so it was a toss between this or some other cheese at my discount store. Yes, the other cheese was a few dollars cheaper but after seeing the reviews on here, I decided to give this a shot. I was not disappointed. It is really tasty cheese and tastes just like nacho cheese should. My only "issue" is that it was too spicy for my tastebuds. I am a complete wimp when it comes to spicy food, so if you do like things a bit on the spicy side, you should have no problem eating this. The serving is 2 oz, and there is about 53 servings per can. I found 2oz of cheese to be plenty for a serving of nachos, so just assume you'll get about 40-50 servings out of one can, depending on how accurate your measuring is. I will be purchasing this again if and when the time comes that we need to sell nachos again.

The way this was shipped was the problem. 6 LOOSE GALLON SIZE CANS IN A BOX BIG ENOUGH TO HOLD 8-10. CANS WERE VERY DENTED TO THE POINT IS WAS DIFFICULT TO OPEN THEM. I USE THEM IN A CHEESE SAUCE WARMER WITH A SPOUT, BUT THE DENTS MADE IT VERY DIFFICULT TO GET THE CAN INTO THE WARMER AND EVEN WORSE TO REMOVE.

So good! I had read several reviews of all sorts of cheese sauces and this one had the best rating, so I decided to try it. I was not disappointed! It is absolutely delicious! The only issue I had is because it is such a large can, it needs to be put into another container with a tight lid for storing in the fridge. This is probably offered more as a concession stand or fair booth item with large turnover and volume of customers. However, I wanted something that would be quick and easy to heat in the microwave as a snack. I put the cheese sauce in a container with a tight lid in the fridge and then just spooned out what I wanted onto a paper plate and heated it in the microwave to go with nacho chips. Quick, easy, and tasty!

Perfect. Premium quality. Just add a wee bit of water to a pan add in cheese to nacho match your favorite premium nacho stand.Perfect for use over chili, in burritos or enchiladas. This cheese is everything I wanted it to be! It tastes just like concession stand nacho cheese. I use it on nachos, pizza, and homemade soft pretzels. Yum! It also freezes great. I like to divide it into several sandwich bags and then put the sandwich bags in a large freezer bag to freeze. When removing from the freezer I simply peel the sandwich bag off and place the frozen chunk into a tupperware for refrigeration. When heating up after being frozen, it will be lumpy until fully heated. Once nice and hot it smooths out again and is equal in texture to the fresh can. Great product!
