Prismacolor Premier Pencils Adult Coloring Kit with Blender, Art Marker, Eraser, Sharpener & Booklet, 29 Piece

The colour range is great...The blending is to die for. Almost an oil paint like quality.And since all the colours are available it's easy to find colours that work in between two colours.The core is also soft yet hard enough to bear pressure. It doesn't break very easily.I would definitely recommend this product if u are a colour pencil artist.

These pencils are absolutely amazing! I ordered the 72 set and the colour selection does not disappoint at all. Prismacolor Premier pencils are known for their rich and vibrant pigments and effortless application on the paper. Blending and layering with these pencils are an absolute treat and the results are extremely satisfying. Recently there has been a lot of concern regarding the quality of these pencils but I haven't really faced any issues apart from a single instance where the indigo coloured pencil broke on me a couple of times, one of those were during very heavy application. A few pencils do have off-centered cores but haven't yet lead to any kind of breakage. Overall, I would suggest these to anyone looking for good artist grade pencils but unwilling to spend for the polychromos or caran d'ache. There's a good reason why prismacolor premier is the choice of artists the world over!!

I bought this set last month and here are the highlights of my experience so far:-> The colours are rich and vibrant. They kinda pop into your face right away and you do not have to apply too much of it.-> The end product on any artist quality paper is super consistent without any blooms. On an average paper too it works like wonders.-> Layering with these pencils is a pure joy and the colours blend well upto 3 - 4 layers without appearing cakey! I use Sanford Prismacolor Blender Pencil Colorless, 2-Pack for blending and it works really well. Haven't tried blending with baby oil though!-> Loved the greys that come in the set. The shadows and grey tones of your drawings are sure to come up well!-> The blue/greens are impressive too.-> A bit disappointed with the yellows and skin tones though (but I shouldn't expect too much in a 72 set i guess :P)-> When it comes to erasing unwanted product, you can achieve that partially using any average quality colour eraser.-> Sharpening the pencils needs extra care as the common sharpeners tend to break the core. I use Prismacolor Premier Pencil Sharpener and it seems to be friendly with the pencils. You can use any spiral sharpener as well, but no matter which sharpener you use, you need to be very careful and slow.-> I have really enjoyed drawing with these pencils, and the quality is great too. But somehow I feel the brand is slightly over hyped for I think the end product could've been slightly better in terms of smoothness. Also the product tends to smudge a little bit even without blending. Hence cutting on a star!-> And yeah you gotta be patient if you order these on the globalstore but the wait is worth it. (In my case it was delivered 3 days before the expected date :))Overall whether or not you are an artist, if you buy these pencils, you are definitely going to treat your creative instincts and come up with drawings that leave people in awe! I totally recommend.

These are supersoft, blend extraordinary and great to work. The colors are so vibrant. I am happy to have got genuine product form the seller at a good discount rate. You look no further for wax based colored pencils once you have this gorgeous set in your rack!2 stars for packaging as it wasnt made properly and the box got dented at the edge.

Quite a good selection of colours.I was getting bored of 72 colours,so I ordered it, didn't see the 150 pack advertisement or I would have gone for it.This product is for me to add fineness to the colouring books ,ps : I am learning new teqniques ,so I bought it at 12950 Indian currency.I don't think it's for beginners as whin I was a bigger,I started with 24 colours and that too was quite cheap at 240rupees.slowly after 4years I am handling these colours ,less is more here.

I've been using Prismacolors since the past 2 years . And one thing for sure, I can tell you that you can go for it without a second thought . It's a little bit costly but it's worth it .I am a beginner and I use it . I've bought a 72 ct. coloured pencils . I've bought this last year and I'm writing the review now... Great set of pencils, easy to blend and colors look fabulous. Though expensive, highly recommended for artist. Only complaint was one pencil has a slight crack. It doesn't look like Amazon fault as they have packed and delivered well.

Someone please review, are these prismacolor 100% legit. Till now experience is good, but few pencils outer paint has started chipping of. No issues with colouring, but quality seems dubious.
