Love that these are a pretty identical replacement for our 1920s hardware. Fit badly perfect with a mere 1\ 16" to remove to make enough room. The look is perfect. But... You know these are some dang expensive hinges. We are talking 10x your normal hinges. Worth it to me after spending a month to refinish my front door. Unsure if I would spring for the cash if it wasn't that door unscrew from top and bottom which make it more secure than the original

Nostalgic Warehouse has become my go-to source for classic door hardware upgrades. These offer a vast improvement over the lousy 35 year-old brass hardware I previously had. I particularly like their steel hinges with oil-rubbed bronze finish. They look great and are nicely priced.

I put these on my front door to replace the original 20-year-old brass hinges as part of an overall door hardware update in my home. They fit perfectly, look nice, and are heavy-duty enough to support a solid door.... but they are pretty expensive. Unfortunately there didn't seem to be much choice of hinges in bronze finish that matched the particular mortise shape and hole pattern of my old brass ones.

Loved the way they look and how sturdy the actual hinges are. Ihave six of them for two new heavy oak doors. Unfortunately three of the screw heads broke off during installation. Now the hinges have to be moved and the door chiseled out more. Not happy.

The spindle inside the hinges comes out really easy as its screwed into the topand bottom, why not make the top and spindle one piece so it does not loosen and fall out?Silly !

I order 3. The box came with this one on top and 2 smaller ones of a different color underneath it. What scam!!!! I’m sending them back. How dishonest.

Quality material

Looks great, had to shim the door to make it work but that's because the old hinges were shot.
