Perfect for Unraid server
Very small and hopefully durable over time. Perfect for an unraid server especially since it is just USB 2.0, which unraid perfers. No connection issues like i have had with other brands usb 3.0 devices. Not going to test the external durability but feels like a truck bed liner.

Works great!
This flash drive worked perfectly for what I needed. I used it to turn my old windows laptop into a Linux one. It holds 15.5 GB of memory and the other 0.5 GB is for the operational software. Also, keep in mind that flash drives are not made for long term storage since the memory requires an electric charge to maintain persistence. After using it as a bootable drive for Linux I reformatted it for storage and it works great for file transfers.

Was great before I almost discovered fire.
Worked good while it lasted but it was my fault but the toughmax only means when enclosed and covered. My laptop slid off my lap while sitting on the couch, so about 2 feet on the USB side. My computer blacks screened, I heard sizzling/sparking, assumed it was the USB, tried to pull, it was jammed, I pulled it harder. USB bent, USB port on laptop fried, data on USB is unobtainable since its bent and shorts any USB hub it touces... The USB feels sturdy if ran over or stepped on. Since the USB is dead, I tried to bend the metal USB part from the body. See photo with marker for scale

Perfection!
I’ve never seen such a well-made flashdrive, until this. It’s indestructible and exactly what I needed. I don’t think I’ll ever buy another brand.

Inexpensive and works well
What can I say other than it works for my intended uses. I've already used it several times for transferring music and other files and it's working well.

BUYER BEWARE: UNRELIABLE - PRONE TO CORRUPTION
I bought this Verbatim 64GB ToughMAX USB 2.0 Flash Drive on sale for $5 in July 2025. I didn't put it to use right away; I'd say probably 3 months later I started using it. At first I thought everything was great, BUT this is a case of "if it is too good to be true..." By January 2026, one of my regularly used files became corrupted. I realized this because I couldn't save any files to the drive. So, I scanned the drive with Check Disk, and lo-and-behold, many, many files were corrupted! I didn't notice any sooner because most of the drive is basically cold storage while I was regularly accessing a projects folder. I used up almost 40GB of 57GB*, too! After reading the many other reviews on here of this very product, I cannot believe Verbatim would put their name on this GARBAGE! I have favored Verbatim for over 20 years. I won't give them another chance, not even for $5, because I essentially wasted my money on this purchase. I am disgusted by corporate greed; this product should have been recalled, and instead they put it on a fire-sale. I would give this product less than 1 star if it was an option. For reference, this item was supposed to replace a 16GB Sandisk flash drive that was used pretty much daily for 5+ years. I didn't even get 5 months out of this. I am a computer nerd, so I am very sure this has nothing to do with user error, and the many other negative reviews seem to support this is a widespread issue. *** One thing I want to point out, I've seen more than a few of the review for this product of people claiming they have the high 50s GB of data and feel they were short changed because it is a 64 GB device.... Yes that is how it works once the drive is formatted. That is normal and you should read up if you don't believe me.

Simple, rugged, USB 2.0 specs. Exactly what I needed.
Looking for a reliable, USB 2.0 device in a pinch, I picked this little guy up and while it is no frills on a thumb drive front, it is rugged and worked perfectly fine as a solid 2.0 based drive that I needed at the time. Some older devices have a harder time doing things like booting from faster 3.0 drives so you need an older 2.0 drive to more guarantee support and this drive did just fine in my case. Not the fastest drive though so even though it's 2.0 speeds, it's still on the slower side with writes. No frills except the compatibility and the ruggedness but it does the trick.

Parou de funcionar. Na verdade nem tinha usado ele direito antes. Tinha apenas testado e aparentemente estava ok. Mas 3 meses agora após a compra fui de fato precisar usar e ele dá erro e não transfere mais arquivo nenhum.
