Blackstar Studio 20 1x12 Guitar Combo Amp w/Reverb

This amp is extremely versatile! I can get any sound I want. I play blues, classic rock, and metal and it does each flawlessly. Way happier than expected as I didn’t get to play it before I ordered it.

It worked and sounded great and 3 months later it died.Amazon and the seller have been zero help and just passing the buck.Very disappointing. I do not recommend.

Review of most important things to least (for me):Tone - very good, both clean and crunch.Speaker - not very good. when heavier distortion is used, there's an underlying hum/vibration. I actually returned one, and the new one did the same thing. I changed out the speaker, and it sounded great with no issues! -- - oh, then the particle board deteriorated when screwing the speaker in - so only 3 of the 4 screws are now holding the speaker in the cabinet.Footswitch - the switching itself is great. No lag between channels, unlike the Marshall DLS series. However, here's what happens - the clean and clean/crunch sound really good, then you switch to the dirty channel and 1) the volume adjustment can't get you high enough to match the clean side and 2) the EQ is super muted without the second switch on - then super bright with second switch engaged.Overall, I cannot recommend this amp.
