Color Me Girl Crush: The Female Appreciation Book for Good Color-Inners as Well as Beginners Paperback – Coloring Book, June 3, 2014

I have a lot of grown-up colouring books, and this one is probably my favourite. The drawings aren't overly intricate (so they don't take hours to complete), but they aren't too simple either. There's little bios of the women inside, which I loved reading. I loved the variety of women in the book - everyone from Beyonce to Jackie O to Kate Middleton to Gwen Stefani to Anna Wintour to Naomi Campbell. Women of all sizes, ages, races and industries are represented. HOWEVER - I took a star off because the book leaves space to rate each woman out of ten. I find this totally against the idea of Girl Power the book should be conveying. All the women in this book (and, indeed, all women) are tens, and leaving a space to rate them is just objectifying. I would've given this book five stars if it hadn't been for that detail.

I was really excited when I found out who was in this book, the likes of Tina Fey (my celeb crush), Audrey Tautou (my fave actress) and a lot of others you dont typically see in adult coloring books...but upon receiving the book...the excitement turned to disappointment as the illustrations were mere sketches which is normally something I can work around, but they are also very small as well and hard to color to your satisfaction.I give it two stars for the great selection of stars you can color and wish someone could take a crack at a book like this, but this is a perfect example of Grade A idea, and D- execution!

I have nothing negative to say about the amazon seller. I got my book in time and in great condition. However, the book itself is lackluster. It's not interactive (I was hoping to color with my girlfriends), there are no funny activities or actual fun facts about any of the girl crushes. Instead, you get cheesy one liners and silly poems. This really had potential to be inspiring and "girl power"y but it fails to leave any impression really...

Ok, but not as good as some of the author's other works

i order five book as a gift on my first order and then i order some books for my granddaughters and the went to my son so now i dont know how hes going to be mail back.

This is an amazing coloring book! I love to color, especially pictures of people, but never found any coloring books specifically made of just people pics. It has all my favorite celebrities, and plenty of them.
