Universal Waterproof Smartphone Carrying Case - White

I received this waterproof case for free to try and review; regardless this is my 100% honest opinion. I got this waterproof case and immeadiately did the test with tissue to verify that it was waterproof. We like to play in and around water: lakes, rivers, pools, oceans, creeks...etc.. If there is water around my daughter and I will try to get our feet at the bare min in. We also like visiting our local Six Flags and going on the water rides which really soak our stuff. We wanted to have some good waterproof pouches that we could protect our phones, cameras, papers, or whatever we need to protect. I've tried a few of these and so far they all work as stated. They float and they are water proof and this one does too.After doing the test I decided to wear it on our day out to one of or local rivers trusting it would keep my phone dry. I had it hung around my neck and was playing around in the water with no issues at first. The reason I marked this down is because on the first day of really using it in a practical manner the strap broke. Luckily the thing was waterproof enough to keep my phone dry when it fell into the river, and the river was slow moving so it was easy to catch. I am SOOOOO super disappointed in this strap and this is why I knocked two stars off. I can find another strap and attach but I shouldn't have to. The original strap should be strong enough to stand up to regular wear. I was not pulling or tugging on it, just the weight of my feature phone was heavy enough to snap the strap. It's not even a heavier smart phone, it's an itty bitty feature phone!!!!I still gave it three stars because the pouch itself did work and kept my phone safe and dry. I can still use the pouch by tossing it into my bags while walking around at the amusement park and knowing that it will stay dry on the water rides or have my bag on the beach or in a canoe and that my phone or camera would stay dry. Or purchase an attach a new stronger strap. The plastic on the case part is a bit thicker than another one I have tried and felt that the seams would not break and allow water in like I feared on the thinner plastics. The clips were also easier to manage than on some other ones that I have tried meaning I could get in and out of the pouch quicker and easier than others I own.We could fit our iPod touches, feature phones and compact digital camera into the pouch by themselves with no problem. The day out at the river I actually had my phone and ID, but there was plenty of room to toss in a lip balm and some money if I had wanted as well.

This would fit an older phone that is small but a newer phone with a big screen & a phone case on it, that does NOT fit. Was very easy to use and seal up without my bigger phone in it.

Great for when you go out fishing, just in case there is an accident.

Neck tag broken at first use. i do not recommend this product.

Works well protecting my phone when I was snorkeling. It was a bit hard to play with the touch screen under water when the outside it wet, but I still got good pictures and videos!

Junk. The lanyard portion fell apart when I took it out of the package! The waterproof locking mechanisms fell apart, but were easily reassembled. I would use this as a backup pouch for something sitting on the poolside or on a beach blanket. Don't take it with you, ESPECIALLY out on a large body of water.

Works well for all of our phones - My daughter had a huge phone and it fits in there and closes correctly - this is going with is on vacation so she can keep her phone while we are tubing down a river in southern Utah while visiting a Dude Ranch - how awful for her to be away from her phone for any length of time. Now she will be close to the phone and never miss a thing while playing in the water.We used this to hold keys for the trip down the river and we got very wet and at the end of the tubing the carrying case was pulled out of a wet pocket and all the keys (all electronic) were dry and safe - we did this 2 days during vacation and dry each time - a great case to keep your phone dry or your keys - great itemA great idea for those who want their phones close at all times and in all places - waterproof with a twisty like lock that is pretty easy to use - it takes a second to figure it out when closing it up but even tech unsavvy me figured it out pretty quickly.Keep up with your phone in the water anywhere - vacations - spa trips - sauna trips - swimming for health and wherever you find yourself that is wet - great idea and something teens will love - gift idea for the teen in your life.I am a blogger and received this item for an honest review.
